Thank you for doing this show! 😊Suicide is such a hard thing to deal with the aftermath of after losing my dad and my husband to suicide. It’s like letting my family and my friends know that I love them is extremely important. I’m sorry for your loss Ian. after I lost them, I started quilting and it is brought joy back into my life. I’m glad that I have Jesus to guide my path.❤
You’ve spoken directly to me about community. You’re right, community is so very vital to people. My brother did not survive Covid. He wasn’t sick with Covid. He lived in a resort town 300 miles from me. All of his social interactions took place at his local dives. Everybody knew each other in town. All the locals knew each other. And when Covid closed the restaurants, the bars, the wineries and cigar clubs, he was so lonely. I called and tried to invite myself up to visit for a weekend, but he said, no and had a variety of excuses. In retrospect I should have just showed up on his doorstep, but 5 hours of driving one way is daunting if you’re unsure of your welcome. And I’m ashamed to say I didn’t hear the lonliness in his excuses. Thank you for letting me say all that.
I am really enjoying listening to the both of you. You both are well-spoken, engaging and interesting. I love how your genuine nature (both of you) is really showcased in this interview. Wishing much success to you both; you deserve it.
Also, some shows like to have quilts that have ribboned in other shows. And check the rules of each show! Some have age limits on the quilts. Most of the time, the quilt has to have been finished within the last 2-3 years.

Can you enter quilts multiple times?
It depends on the show rules. Some shows only let you enter a quilt once while others allow it to be entered again unless it won a ribbon.
Also, some shows like to have quilts that have ribboned in other shows. And check the rules of each show! Some have age limits on the quilts. Most of the time, the quilt has to have been finished within the last 2-3 years.
HI!
