Well done man, very nice improvement! Keep going, it only gets more enjoyable the more you learn, and the rabbithole of optimizations possible is truly infinite!
That's an insane pace of improvement! 51 y/o cuber here from the UK, first solved in 1980 with 52s using some ancient layer method. Came back to cubing after a 42 year break last summer after JPerm randomly popped up on my feed. Life is seriously getting in the way so my progress is way slow, still on ~50 secs but at least I know full PLL and 2-look OLL, plus most of the 41 basic F2L. Cross is my achilles heel though, my old brain just can't cope with it :), some wierd F2L cases also make me think for a good 5 seconds so my times are all over the place...aiming for a sub 30 ao5 but it seems such a long way away...haha. It's still great fun though and hopefully keeps the dementia at bay, subbed!
Amazing video, i am 12 years old, recently i have gotten back into cubing after quitting, having used beginners method. However, after around a week or two of solving again, i have learnt 2 look OLL, as well as 2-look PLL. Your video has inspired me to pursue my cubing love and attempt to reach sub 10, currently getting 33sec today, this is an amazing video, i am pleased to tell you i have subscribed.
lol I think all three of us are the exact same person cause I’m also 12, used the beginners method, quit for a while, came back, and learnt 2 look OLL and PLL.

Ive been cubing for just over a year now, and I have become sub 20 a couple months ago, and now my pb single is 11.10. My pb ao5 is around 14 to 15 seconds. I think you have improved very fast, and I hope you get even fasted! Edit: my pb single is now 9.77, and my pb ao5 13.56. And I have 3 13.69 ao5s.
I personally averaged 20 after almost 5 months then i basically stopped but watched cubing content sometimes. When i came back I was like the same but after like 1 month I started to notice some things and manage to average 16-18 seconds . Then I learnt full OLL and improved f2l and so on and times went down . Personally to improve its better to practice . As if I just cube 1 month. I would probably improve more in 1 week of training ( so that everything I learn I can do consistently)
Wow! This is great improvement! I've cubed for nearly 2 years and still average 10.8... That may be because I've been on and off from cubing tho. If you keep going at this rate, I reckon you'll be sub-10 in half a year or so! Keep it up!
