@@josephstalin2606 Vic's death had nothing to do with betraying Tommy, Diaz was the one behind the ambush and Tommy and Lance killed him, those who didn't play VCS have 0 idea how much pain Lance caused Vic, and he did the same to Tommy who saved his life and Lance was lazy sitting around while tommy was establishing assets, same with Vic, Lance got him in trouble with Forbes, Mendez and all, if you played VCS you see what a terrible brother Lance was and a dead brother is way better than a brother like that! Vic was a good brother helping Pete, Lance could care less about Pete it was always his ego "its about me", Lance is the worst brother ever.
I’ll admit Lance is funny. Stupid, but funny. The dude really made my day, especially with that Manila Blilla. Though, two things I hate him is that 1: giving us hard missions 2: Being the reason for Louise's death and showing no comfort to Vic after his loss for the girl.
I describe him as tha steve burnside of gta. He gets tha protagonist into shit tha whole game while bein annoyin as hell. Only thing with lance is that he makes you laugh and had tha 80s style voice that wasnt annoyin. Steve just made you wanna beat tha fuck outta him everytime you heard his voice. Lol.
I wish Lance had a redemption arc he was so likeable Rockstar making him a villain felt kinda forced and out of the blue like they did with Ryder in San Andreas they also killed him off like an after thought didn't even have a death cutscene just like Ryder despite being important to the story
Lance has a proper, consistent narrative arc that explains why although his betrayal comes out of the blue, it was still an act that was sadly consistent with his character, due to his depression and cocaine addiction as well as his insecurities. Ryder’s betrayal is handled more poorly than Lance’s due to the lack of a proper narrative arc around it. However, upon closer inspection of the story, you can see hints that Ryder is disloyal to the Grove Street Families and still has some dislike towards CJ, on top of him being jealous and disillusioned with Sweet accepting CJ back to the gang.

No, he didn’t, his biggest mistake was betraying the most dangerous man he knew, who treated almost everyone around him with disrespect and was shown to be a psychopath on a power trip and was shown to be as selfish, narcissistic and disloyal as Lance was, and quite frankly, if not more. Now, I do think that Lance was wrong to betray Tommy, but I also think Tommy was an egotistical guy who primarily cared about himself and his own success and in that regard he was quite similar to Lance as they were both motivated by upholding their reputation and image and wealth. Lance caused some problems but I don’t think it was his intentions and him attacking Diaz’ business is justified
