We are SO looking forward to visiting DL next Halloween, we are WDW visitors, so this will be our first trip to DL. We very much dropped the ball on this date last year in the HS during our visit to Galaxy Edge, missing out on the Black Cafe, Olga's and many more. We did do the Ronto Roast, by chance, and loved it. Black Cafe will be a MUST, along with a "boba straw" and stirring the drink up! (laughing in coffee sounds). My wife and I, along with the seven others, will VERY much visit Bengal, go sit with Rosita and enjoy a Dole Whip. My BIG question....where were you sitting? We have been watching many vids and have yet to see the pinball machine! Looking forward to you doing Tiana's Palace, being from the south and at one time living in New Orleans, we just cannot wrap our head around the BEEF Po Boy.....it has always been Catfish, Shrimp or Crawfish. Keep up the vids, looking forward to more!
Thank you so much!! Oh we cannot WAIT to try Tiana's Palace! We saw Tiana in the parks before it opening, and she told us that the food was going to be amazing!!!!! As far as Bengal BBQ, the pinball machine, I want to say, is to the back left of the sitting area. You won't miss it. It's not hidden or anything! I have never been to New Orleans, but that is definitely ON the list to go to! Cafe Orleans in DL actually has pretty good Southern comfort food (I think... though I have no way to truly compare), and they are running this Halloween special, which is a decent deal. If you're there, I'd recommend checking it out! :D
@@journeywithjinandmike Yep, Cafe Orleans is a must for us due to the Monte Cristo (this was taken away from the menu at WDW just as we were going to visit last year). When and if you get the chance to visit New Orlwans...try ANY restaurant in the Jackson Square area in front of the Cathedral-Basilica of Saint Louis (Cafe Pontalba is very good...we CANNOT remember what we had....but the Key Lime Pie was a home run...anytime we try Key Lime Pie...we rate it to this location! Bah Hah!)
The Blue Bayou also has the monte cristo, but that one is a bit harder to get into. Cast member told me that the versions at both restaurants are essentially identical, and what makes Cafe Orleans extra special is Walt actually ate there (under a different name at the time). Thanks for the recommendations! If I’m ever there, will def need to check it out!!!
If you have been to Disneyland, let us know what is YOUR favorite snack!
I'm going Dolewhip Float all the way!
@@bobbyimari7090 Make sure you have it while being inside the Enchanted Tiki Room! You can't do anywhere else. :D
