- Hi Everyone! I wanted to share my beautiful Dooney Micro Satchel in the color Bordeaux. It is so beautiful! The Florentine Leather is flawless. I bought it during the 12 Days Of Dooney sale. I also bought the Florentine Continental Clutch to match. Beautiful and functional!

Love 💘 it!!! I have Bordeaux, Slate, and Fern. I still want black. I use baby rubber bands doubled up and slide over any excess straps. Bordeaux is gorgeous!! I have the continental clutch in Crimson and it is the same color as my Bordeaux bags. The pebble leather Wine color accessories matches my Florentine Bordeaux and Wexford leather in Mulberry. TFS.

@@BagHound I like the Micro size a lot because I think the larger bags look ridiculous on me as a crossbody and this is one of very few that I can wear that way. I like having a bag that i can transfer essentials for the mall or stores. Now with covid I don't like putting my bag in a shopping cart like I did before which is another reason I'm trying to use my crossbody bags. I have a couple of Coach Cassie bags that are good for that too, but for some reason I haven't used them. I also have Fossil bag that I have as a abuse bag. I decided to stay with my small satchel size for regular use.. I can use my small Stanwich for a mini size and Micro for crossbody use. I plan to start selling the excessively large bags like the Buckley bags. Sorry so long.

The Bordeaux Florentine is gorgeous! I’m so curious about the micro and mini sizes, but I don’t even have a small satchel yet. Your bag is smooth and has a shuttle sheen. Beautiful bag and really love the wallet, what a good idea to keep the checks the way your husband does, might pick up one of these. I love pebble grain, but I'm willing to try other materials with wallets because I usually have them in another bag.
Hi my friend..Yes, I like this wallet too. One of these in black is on the way to me. It is a little stiffer than pebble. I believe the Florentine leather breaks in over time. This wallet also comes in other leathers, such was pebble. I believe only the Florentine has the whipstitching. It is on sale now for $115. Thank you so much for watching my dear friend. OMG Ilene, this bag is beautiful!!!😍🤗 I love the size and the color. It's defitnitely a keeper. She's a smooth baby. Dooney is already sold out of this color for this size. I think the hardware and all the leather details is what gives this bag some heft. I think it's big enough to carry your essentials, you just have to be mindful of what you carry in it.😉 The matching wallet is beautiful too. The whipstitch detail on both is pretty. Hi my friend..Thank you! I really love this bag. It is so adorable. It looks so cute on no matter which way you carry it. I did order and received the Mini in this color too. I filmed a video I have not published yet comparing the two and asking for help to decide which one. I have decided to keep the Micro. Even if this is my only Micro it is worth keeping because it is so perfect. My husband thinks the Mini is a better choice because of the wide mouth it has. I love the Micro. My only concern is why are so many people selling their Micro on eBay?!. That must mean something.I still have both of them here. If the Mini was in better condition I would keep both. What I use for strap holder is a see thru mini rubber band. It’s barely noticeable

Love it I usually have a continental clutch, zip coin case and the bigger dooney kisslock in my Dooney satchels so I am glad to know those fit in the micro. Hello!! I bought the medium florentine satchel in Bordeaux last night. Most of the florentine bags seems to carry heavy, but I think it’s because the leather is heavy and exceptional quality. Dooney is all I ever buy anymore. I love their bags!🥰 Congrats on your beautiful bag!! I think you will love it. Oh, I forgot to mention that the whip stitching on the handles is Brown tmoro. Just wondering if you recommend the Apple Conditioner for Florentine bags? I saw a video on it but I still don’t know if it looks dry at all? My duck logo is very dark compared to the Chestnut bag so I value your opinion. Do you shine the bag with a cloth after conditioning with it? Thank you so much!
Hi Bonnie, I have never conditioned any of my bags. I have heard the Apple Leather Conditioner and Apple Guard is a very good brand for caring for the leather and protecting it from water stains. Many Louis Vuitton videos I have watched seem to recommend it. I would not suggest that anyone try it based on my second hand knowledge. I am even less familiar with Dooney' leather. You can call Dooney customer service. Or, if you are in a Dooney Facebook group, you can post the question to much more experienced members. I am so sorry I could not answer intelligently. Hi Genny..Thank you. This size is 1-3/4 " shorter in length than the Mini. All other dimensions are exact...7" in height and 5-1/2" in depth. That is one of the reasons why I am keeping this bag. Hi Aya A.H I think the Nano is so adorable. It is super small but if that size works for you I think you should give it a try. It is great as a crossbody. It has all the details of the larger size. The Dooney sale is coming to a close very soon. If you are thinking of it get it now. This is the time to get it at a substantial discount. You can return it if it doesn't work for you. Hi Elsa, The quality of Dooney is really amazing. It is beautiful. I don't think I would be able to find the quality of a Dooney bag at any other Fashion house for a reasonable price. Yes, I Love Dooney is an outlet site. They say it is not the same business as Dooney. I don't know if they are one and the same or two separate entities. I feel there is a connection. Many people prefer I Love Dooney. The prices are less expensive and there is usually a sale going on. I prefer to buy from Dooney but I do buy from both. I have a sweater I wore the day my first grandchild was a newborn and brought home from the hospital. I also have a red sweater, which I recently wore in a current video, that I have pictures of when I wore it to his first birthday party. 😂 The micro is not that much smaller than the mini. Hi Barbara...My issues exactly. Even this one is on the heavy side. I think it is because of the way the weight is distributed. I have a mini satchel en route to me too in this color. Also, the new flat bottom adds additional weight. But it is so beautiful. I love the proportions of this bag. It is more similar to the Small Satchel as opposed to the mini satchel which is proportionally similar to the Medium Satchel. I currently have a florentine logo lock hobo in chestnut. It is so sensitive to the slightest scratches from my fingernails I pretty much never wanted another one. Then I saw the Amelia, and I want one when I can get it. It is smaller so light, and has a short handle which prevents it from swinging when i walk. And it looks just as good as the small senreve, which I thought would be great, but it costs well over $600 I think.

😆😂🤣 That is what I am going to need to do!! Maybe carrying the bag often will build my muscles. I am not returning it. Bags in such perfect condition seldom come my way. I am just going to carry a few things in the bag. Maybe find a different shoulder strap or a pad for the strap to make it more comfortable. Carrying on the arm is an option when it gets too heavy. @@BagHound, I have the Micro en Ecru. Is absolutely stunning, I'm in love but you're right about the weight. I think the problem is the strap, is too narrow it should be wider for such heavy bags.
