I also have another idea that I want to try and it's related to Sparta Patterns. So in classic-style remixes, you often have overused pitch patterns, which you can use pretty much in any remix, like (0 0 12 12 0 0 12 12 1 1 13 13 ... but also more advanced patterns). My idea is to try using Kolmogorov Complexity in a way to generate new patterns, which are similar to a group of existing ones. For example to generate a "4th pulse pitch pattern", you would give it patterns from Pulse base and other similar bases and give higher weights to "Pulse 2" and "Pulse 3" pattern. The algorithm would mix properties of all the patterns you gave it and add randomness and output something. Will this work? I have no idea, but I'm gonna try it out. I wanted to do something like this back in 2019, but didn't know any good ways to go about it. I wanted to use Generative Grammars, but they are weak. I learned about Kolmogorov Complexity this year and it seems it will do good. Reason I'm asking is bc there is one remix in my request that got set to private (it's a remix made by JoeyWednesday) and it was not saved by the Wayback Machine, and that remix is SO GOOD that idk if I wanna replace it. If you don't have it downloaded then I can replace it tho, I was just wondering if you downloaded everything in my request yet.
