    For many years I've been keeping the Sabbath and it's holy days. Over 40 years. Of the part of his church small group and we met on a regular basis on Sabbath of course. However, over time one by one they left. For different reasons. One was love, one was illness because his wife was not healed. I am the last of that group. But keeping sabbath and holy days on my own, the best way I know how.
    Out here fighting the good fight. In the sea of lawlessness, corruption, and a willingness to be ignorant.

      Elijah thought he was alone, But he was told there were thousands who had not bowed the knee to baal. , Even after the great showdown on Mount Carmel, he still felt alone, but he was not, in reality!
      Today there are many who have not bowed down before the Christmas tree, and stooped down to hide the Easter eggs, which is probably even worse than participating in Halloween, which is obviously evil. They tried to dress up the pagan festivals, with a cloak of the Bible. Santa Claus is a counterfeit. Children have their own parents even lying to them, saying say that Santa Claus, is supernatural, is the one who brought them gifts, and he knows who naughty and nice.Pagan times and pagan ways,,,, instead of the Bible, the true holy days, and appointed times.

      It is not lawlessness to consider all days equal. If you are imposing the sabbath on people, and calling them lawless if they do not, then Christ is profiting you nothing. I hope and pray you allow Christians the liberty to not keep the Sabbath for your own sake/soul.

    Thank you for a great picture of what this feast means!! Sad to me that most of the Christians I know have 0 desire to understand this, I don't get that because I'm interested in ANYTHING that's important to my Lord!! 🙌🏼📖🙏🏼✝️

      @frankchiedo4109 you don't have to stop fellowship with Sunday church friends. Even after I began to keep the sabbath I continue to go to my Sunday church events and keep this friendships going. Just because we've been awakened to God's truth in His word doesn't mean to forsake our church family who is still in the dark. Granted, it is harder and there are some things that make it difficult but we are called to be long-suffering and gentle. Just because they don't know the whole truth of scripture doesn't mean they aren't saved. Remember, our brothers and sisters in Christ are those who believe in Jesus, Yeshua the messiah, as God's son, our savior. Keeping the feasts don't add to or take away of our salvation in Christ. ❤
      If we remove ourselves from the Sunday church completely we are not being a positive ambassador for Him. In my own experience, I am heartbroken that people don't seem to be receptive to hearing about the truths I've discovered by investigating Paul's writings and the old testament. However, we cannot know a person's inner thoughts and heart. God does, and you never know when a seed you've helped plant will suddenly sprout!
      Keep the faith in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control and be longsuffering! Hallelujah!! This is the evidence of His spirit in us! ❤

    Last year the family kept this holy day in the backyard. This year, no family around, just me. So I took two cushions off the couch and put them on the porch, and me and the dog are sleeping under the stars.
    I hope I don't have to deal with owls or coyotes trying to carry off the dog. It does make me wonder what the Israelites had to deal with out in the desert during this time.

    QUESTION: Is it okay to prepare, cook large meals and serve foods to family and guests during Sukkot? I was thinking about the dedication of the temple by Solomon on the 8th day and how they might have cooked and served food to a great number of people during the feast. It might have been so tiring. Would that be breaking the High Sabbath of the 8th Day? Just asking. Thanks.

    • @justincase1919

      "The priests work on the sabbath and are held blameless."
      Yahshua's point here was not that the sabbaths were not to be kept, but that some work is permissible and even necessary on the sabbaths.
      The sabbaths are feast days, cooking is necessary and not a violation.
      Having said that, the sabbaths ( mostly ) begin at evening and you could do the cooking before sunset if you want.

    Not being divisive or trying to stir up anything, I promise. But I do have a legitimate question:
    You always tell us to test everything. GOD'S Name is Yod Hei Vav Hei (YHVH) There is no "W" or "J" in ancient Hebrew. Why do you call HIM YAH-WEH?

    • @martystover5689
      @martystover5689 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I personally don't think we will know for sure what His real name is until messiah returns and sets things right again.

    YES. ALL followers of YAHshua our Messiah and obey our Father YAHWeH ELOHIM should celebrate
    1. The Passover/ Pesach (the death and resurrection of our Messiah YAHshua , who was raised up alive, by His Father Creator Elogim - not Easter)
    2. Penecost/Shavout (the OUTPOURING of the HOLINESS OF SPIRIT (YAHWeH Elogim/Creator who is SPIRIT to dwell WITHIN and enngraving His 10 WORDS on our heart/mind.
    3. The Feast of TABERNACLES/SUKKOT. 8 DAYS) - THE FEAST OF THE INGATHERING (to come soon YAHshua ingathering his people). This is the COMNANDMENT FROM YAHWEH ELOHIM and has NOT CHANGED till He says so, which he has NOT. Blessings to all the brethren in YAHshua our Messiah to the GLORY of our Father/Creator YAHWeH Elohim of Israel (name of His Kingdom). 🙏🙏

    I always wonder why these people pronounce The Most High yahweh but still pronounce yahudah (judah) as such, because they have the same hebrew letters (except the dalet of course)????

      The enemy has sown much confusion into the topic of The Name. Only those truly following the lead of the Ruach Emet will find the true pronunciation. This is how He wants it, so that His true name is not mishandled.

      This is a good choice. This is like listening to the old grey beards that hang around the gates to the city. These are reasoned arguments from the wise. If you belong to a faith community who is observing Sukkot, when are they planning on observing Sukkot?

    • @SchoonerDesire
      @SchoonerDesire ปีที่แล้ว +5

      That's great. The times (6:28 pm ...) are specific to the 119 Ministries building, I think. Our celebration starts and ends at "evening". Lots of ways to determine that. I like sighting the 3rd star in the evening sky. There are other ways. The important thing is to "do the things", not get wrapped up in arguments about "this is the ONLY correct way". Read the Book, do what it says, find a community.

    Zechariah 14 can't be talking about the 1000 years because that's going to be in heaven, not on earth. And according to 2 Thessalonians 2:7-10 there won't be any life on earth during this time. The earth and those left behind will be destroyed. Rev. 20 is another reference. Verse 5 referring to those left, after the 1000 years they'll rise for their judgment before going to the lake of fire, then we'll have a new restored earth.

  • @MFPhoto1
    @MFPhoto1 ปีที่แล้ว

    Where do you get "tabernacles" from? A succah is not a tabernacle. It is a temporary hut.
    Yaweh is not God's name. It isn't even Hebrew. There is no "w" in Hebrew. Yaweh, Yaveh, and Jehovah are all mistransliterations of the Yud-Hey-Vuv-Hey, which technically has no pronunciation as it has no vowels. Rather in prayer, YHVH is read as "A-donai," a secular honorific title.
    If you do not understand these holidays, then it is probably better if you do not observe them.
