Ahh yeah, you're right, I knew I shoulda googled it lol. I'll fix that in the next episode. Also yeah Tigon looking back at it it might fit with the baseball field more if I go for a un-manicured look.
This is definitely a well done "New England" inspired map! I mean down to the color scheme and styles of the buildings even seem to match what I have seen of the Northeast. Again, killer vid :)
I’m late watching this but yeah it’s a great first episode and start to a very cool city. Can see the baseball field now you mentioned, love the run down feel
Thanks Tigon! Yeah I think I'd like to make this city a big one, been itching for a downtown and a bigger population with traffic etc. Angler Creek is kinda empty.
I wish there was a ball diamond decal like the soccer pitch…..love the detail in it, but every time someone puts a diamond in their videos the proportions are way off… That said, love that you put it…..warms my heart to see one included….great job on the city.
Thanks! Yeah I agree, hopefully that comes soon in a update or DLC. I did use a reference to draw my guidelines, and the diamond is more or less in 1/3 proportions, with 30 feet inbetween bases instead of 90. 90 feet was just way too big for the space, the outfield is all messed up though for sure. I could go back and extend the land out a bit so the outfield is more proportional to the diamond.
Great what you squeezed out of the limited amount of various building assets. I am currently working on a european old town district as well and it sometimes is exhausting and frustrating to use like the same 3 house assets over and over... ^^
Thanks! I feel that, yeah the asset variation is very limiting on a build like this. Luckily using recolor mod helps a lot with making the homogeneity look intentional.
The only graphics related settings I change is I use Map Texture Replacer, the textures I use are in the description, and I use the maintain camera settings mod to change the time of day. The time of day makes a huge difference to how the game looks.
@@GenericLemonsthanks for answering, i downloaded the same graphic mods that you have and the overall graphic indeed improved so thank you for that. I still have a problem with buildings and trees and it has been driving me insane for the past 3 days beacuse i cant find the answer anywhere. When I look at the trees and buildings from a far thier textures are ’’glitching” (like the texture is jumping around idk) I’ve got no idea how to explain it nor how to fix it. Im going to reinstall the game completly and i hope it will help somehow because its driving me nuts lmao😂 anyway another very nice video, love your builds and cant wait for more
Perfect! Looks like Amsterdam, Leiden or delft in the Netherlands but without the canals. Can you give me the mods for the cobblestones and where are the corner row homes from? I love those assets!
The surface are found in the Real Vision Decal Pack by Statik Noize. Last I checked they weren't on PDX mods yet. But you can find a github link to download them locally on Sully's discord server while they're still in development.
Not the nit pick, the goal post would outside of the pitch
Also thought the original surface more likely than manicured... plus opportunity to add mud in strategic locations... [/nitpitck] ;o)

I agree! It might be more accurate than some actual cities in New England :)
Thanks!

Hey, thanks man. Definitely excited about whats coming up for this one.
finally a thoughtful and different build in CS2
Thank you!
14:31 my heart is broken...
Yeah I'm definitely going to have to go back and fix that first thing next episode.
What a super build Mr Lemons! Nice to see how you go about an older, larger settlement.
Thanks Tigon! Yeah I think I'd like to make this city a big one, been itching for a downtown and a bigger population with traffic etc. Angler Creek is kinda empty.
Niesamowite 👍👍👍
Came from Imperatur's channel and yeah I found another great Cities Skylines creator
Heck yeah I'm glad you enjoy the content! Imperaturs video's are great!

@@GenericLemons ha, the diamond is awesome, it’s the outfield! Love your stuff
Looks great man!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed.
Keep it up❤
Thanks! Will do. 😊
leave little bit for open space bro and to let the sun enter the back of the rooms, that's too much trees. other than that it's excellent build
True, I think I'd like to do one more pass-over of this area and add some more meticulous details instead of just filling up the space with trees.
Nice!
Very nice🍋
Thanks!
second time watching and second time a very cool vid. Keep it up.
Thank you! Glad you're enjoying the video. Definitely wanting to upload more of this city soon.

You need to start your own series
Thanks! I do intend to make this a series.
would love to see the color of the roof in the recolor mod!
One thing that bothered me in this episode is that the goalposts should be aligned with the goal line 😂
True, definitely going to have to go back and fix that.
Party 2 ? ❤
Part 2 should be out sometime today!
How is your graphic so good? I have a powerfull pc, but my graphic looks horrible and I have no idea how to fix it 😩

1:06 Co to za mod z domami ???
These are all vanilla houses. I'm using 'Find It' to get the menu with the houses and 'Plop The Growables' to be able to set them down.
Map ???
This is a scan of the boston area, but I heavily modified it to give it a unique shape and appearance.
@@GenericLemonscan you share the map?
