    My neighbour two doors down has a large driveway. I asked him his secret as the driveway was weed free. He said cheap table salt. So I use it continually through the year. Cheap and no pesticides. Good job! I laugh when I see people spraying their driveways hehe

    👏 excellent. And to think how much money people have wasted on toxic products that destroy the environment when all you need is table salt. Thank you for this great tip :)

    Rain will still make it work infact salt with hot water and some dish soap actually work quicker then just putting it on dry. The dishwasher soap helps to make the salt stick to the weed.

    Better way, first remove the protective waterproof layers on the leaf. A bit of washing up powder flavoured water will do the trick. Give that a day or at least a few hours then come in with salt

      Hi there I just left mine as they went dark and shrivelled up to almost nothing so didn't really look too bad but on the bigger weeds yeah should probably wait till they've died off completely and then just pull them out if u fine they look unsightly if you keep up with it every time new weeds start to show through they will probable just fade away 🌼

    • @oldbiker9
      @oldbiker9 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use a wire brush to remove the dead weed's. Salt isn't a permanent cure & you will need to reapply every three / four weeks before the weeds start to regrow.
