Beautifully calming and so fitting for Easter🙏💕 Patrick your music is so angelic and has helped me see God's light in all the darkness and sorrow I've experienced this year. I lost my dear father on Feb 7th and then my grandmother on March 4th. Immediately, Covid19 started and I feel now being at home having to slow down, pray and ask for God's mercy that healing and light will begin to flow on Earth once more. We all have the spark of God breathed into us at birth. Your music to me feels as though angels are singing to my soul reminding me that Christ is the one true victory that is with us at all times. We just need to stop the busyness of life and listen to his voice and that of the angels. We then realize our strength within our soul being renewed, the fire of God in our hearts restored. The Exsultet or Easter Proclamation, is a lengthy sung proclamation delivered before the paschal candle, ideally by a deacon, during the Easter Vigil in the Roman Rite of Mass. In the absence of a deacon, it may be sung by a priest or by a cantor. It is sung after a procession with the paschal candle before the beginning of the Liturgy of the Word. It is also used in Anglican and various Lutheran churches, as well as other Western Christian denominations. The Chant is about Divine Light entering worldly darkness and showing a way to overcome our current situation.

*WHAT'S YOUR CHANT VERSION ALL ABOUT?*
Through these Chants I want to share with you the beauty that can be found at the core of christian spirituality, which is unfortunately covered by so many layers of politics, blind theoretical thought systems and of course bad behavior. Often it seems to me like we completely lost the true meaning and power of the christian spirituality over time, which is to overcome our egoistic nature and spiritual flaws to evolve into a cleansed version of our being, and therefor filled it up with tons of things, that boost the ego instead of understanding the transforming spiritual mystical process we shall go through in our lives. That being said, this chant version is my heartfelt personal expression of that spiritual process: to purify ourselves through prayer, coming closer and closer to the realm of angels and finally reintegrate our being into the divine existence of God, which is the mystical unification. Since it seems that you feel this higher dimension in the music too, I am looking forward to record and arrange more personal versions of traditional chants in the future. If you want others to experience this spiritual and mystical music too, please share it and show it to the world.
