Virtual Field Trip: Water Quality in Lake Erie at Stone Laboratory

Take your middle and high school science class out on the water! This 45-minute Feed the World virtual experience takes students to Stone Lab on South Bass Island to connect with OSU experts about their water quality research.
Students will:
• Get a tour of Stone Lab
• Learn from scientists about water quality in Ohio and the Great Lakes
• Discuss research on harmful algal blooms (HABs)
• Understand how farmers are improving precision application methods to improve Lake Erie's water quality
• See how these practices have impacted Lake Erie's fish populations and more!
