Love to hear someone having similar feelings regarding alcohol! I’ve also over the past 1.5 years or so almost completely stopped drinking, with an occasional one glass of wine or cocktail for special occasions and the impact on my life has been immense! Most of my friends and family just don’t seem to comprehend why I prefer just not to drink so it’s refreshing to hear you have similar feelings 💕
Thank you for sharing this rant! I’m having a similar journey with drinking and working out when it works for me and when it just doesn’t… great to hear you share your thoughts too
Tan wise- jergens natural glow gradual tan in the medium to deep shade. I’m pale but the shade makes it so that 1-2 coats during the week gives me a nice tan! it’s a lotion that you put on after the shower and you can put a robe/clothes on after 10 minutes or so 😊
Allana try the tan luxe drops! And yes there is a difference between body and face ones, and apply more than they recommend!! It works, the tan is nice, and you HAVE to mix w moisturizer, it doesn’t stain/transfer! It doesn’t last as long but you can reapply!!! It’s so nice! I’ve switched from mousses to this as a dry girly
We definitely get the whole package watching you. You're so authentic and honest compared to so many, and that's what draws me personally to you 🫶 I love that you're not always trying to sell us something and you stick to what you know and love. Ilysm #EDM #ibizababy #HGS
I need to get my hands on that Nudestix blush. I’ve been eyeing it for so long and love that it has the additional SPF. I’ve had so many self tanning fails and have loved the Coco and Eve tanning mousse. It’s been the only tanner I’ve used for 2 years. I use the La Roche Posay Lipikar Cream the night before and the day of. I let the tan sit for 5-6 hours before washing it off and it’s perfect every time.
Tan Luxe Express Mousse is my fav. No transfer, less smelly than coco&eve or any st tropez Product i tried. Second fav are the tanning Drops from clarins that you put into Lotion. 1-2 Drops every day in Winter for the face.
I feel you on the drinking!! I drink maybe twice a year and once I drank quite a bit (for me) and I swear the depression bus came and ran me over. I did not expect that at all. My body was not ready! I definitely agree there is a time and place!
I got together with a friend I haven’t seen in a long time because we were both traveling and I felt so full afterwards. I had a long tiring week of work and I felt so energized after only 2 hours with her. I totally get what you’re saying about being with good folks and how they can revitalize you.
Allana! What if you use an oil body wash and shower with not too hot water before you fake tan? I know nothing about fake tanning but I thought to myself that that might help keep your skin moisturized without using lotion beforehand!! I think tanning is a much healthier alternative to sun tanning so get it girl!
I'm also very dry especially in the winter. The LaRoche Posay Lipikar cream literally saved my skin! It's amazing in so many ways! In the summer, I want to smell good so I use the Pistaché body butter and it's so so good. Moisturizes my skin plus I smell amazing plus it's all clean ingredients 🎉❤
I am loving the Tanologist gradual tan! You apply it every day and it’s a tanner and lotion in one, and it really does gradually give you a tan. I still use some regular lotion on my knees, elbows, and ankles first. I find it is way less prone to patchiness than a normal tan because you are just doing a really subtle layer of tan one day at a time. If you missed a spot one day, you will probably get it covered the next. It’s not as intense and dark, but it’s way easier, more natiral, and isn’t as smelly lol
I've been on a no alcohol journey, 4 months without any alcohol. I recently had some drinks on different occasions and it was truly so crazy how horrible I felt mentally and physically. Needless to say going back to no alcohol.
Girl, UTan! The mousse and the face spray. THE BEST! No need to soak overnight, I always moisturize before it and it doesn’t smell like death. It actually smells nice. I’ve never ever had it do me wrong and I SUCK at fake tan! Try it, it’s amazing!
I am also extremely dry. Like lizard skin dry.. I use the first aid beauty scrub & shave in the shower, dry off, put lotion on hands, feet, elbows & knees & then go in with my self tan ( I use the Ashley graham one) & I try to keep it on for 12 hours before washing it off. Sometimes I sleep in it sometimes I don’t, I haven’t noticed a difference. But I don’t use a loofa or anything when I rinse. I take a small amount of body wash on my hand and gently wash my body. Then I pat dry & immediately moisturize. I’ve had never had an issue. I’ve been doing self tan & spray tans since high school back in 2010! I hope this helps!
LOVE AND MISS YOU SO SO MUCH 💘 I would like to clarify that I do love the express mousse! It just wasn't dark enough for me for this trip so I used the express on wednesday and applied the luxe serum on saturday and it was 10/10 (both during the day as they dry fast). Also the serum is v hydrating so deffo recommend for dry skinned gals xx
I use the st tropez (original white bottle mousse) or bondi sands (cool tone) mousse. I don't use lotion beforehand, but I do use a coarse scrub on my arms and legs. I sleep in it and it's never been a problem but make sure you let it have ample dry time. Like an hour or longer before bed. And if my elbows or knees are feeling dry I will apply a small amount of lotion after I tan to those areas. It works! And then in between applications of the mousse I use a gradual tan lotion. 👍🏼
Have you tried a white noise machine for sleeping? There are phone apps, too - and I have a chargeable one for traveling. I set mine on the fan noise (or maybe it’s air conditioning noise?) and it really helps me sleep. I also have to have the room completely dark. I hope this helps ❤
I received a tip, tried it and loved it: I went to get a spray tan and before it started fading, I started applying the St Tropez mousse! Have you ever tried an spray tan? ❤
Love the look you created in todays video. I said this in your last video but I have never in my life used self tan but I love how it looks on other people. Maybe one day I will finally give it a go.
I put on my tan at night and always put powder all over body. I wake up not sticky, and no rub off 😊. I also only put lotion before I tan on my feet, ankles, knees and elbows
Two years I started doing daily short sun exposure during lunch time when the sun is the strongest. I'll put on my bikini and go lie in the sun for about 10-20 min (depends on how tanned I'm already am) this will give me a gradual tan over time without an unhealthy amount of sun exposure and the positive thing is that depending on your skin type you won't get a burn because the exposure is within the natural protection time of the own skin but still habe the positive side effect of building vitamin D3 and helping the skin to develop her own protection ❤
PETA JANE BEAUTY!!!! Best fake tanner I’ve ever tried. I’m a pale girl so I always have orange arm puts, hands, elbows, knees & most importantly DORITO FEET. but with this tanner it NEVER happens!! Couldn’t recommend more
Ciao Allana! Miss you Meryl Soo happy you are in Ibiza with the ghwarls!! Have fun, your hair still looking blowdryhairAF! Adore❤ Yasss, loving Nudestix glow!! You look gorgeous luv. Have fun!x
I really need an orange blush look! Missing your brand trips with orange blush. I was re-watching every-day-may from other years, and was reminded of the Benefit trip. one of my favorite every day may years
😮Yes, we are the tan fam 😎🌞. I really like the big barrel hair size on that curling iron. I'll see if you have it linked...yep, you do, yay! Awe, what a fun gals trip 💗 I'm glad you're having a blast 😊. As far as drinking goes, it's been a few years for sure, since I've had one. I'm just not a drinker, I'm blast w/o the glass lolol 😂.😮. Love the new Nudestix bronzer shade...looks so good on the skin!!! Ugh and I need that Georgio Armani pink blush 😊... so gorgeous . I also want their eye liquid eyeshadows . I tried ordering the shade you had along with a couple others and they were sold out during the Sephora sale. They'll just have to stay in my loves for now ❤😢. Hope you and the gals have a great last evening there 😊 *hugs* xoxo 😘 🤗 ❤️
Love your channel! Since you did acutane that could be the cause of the dry skin! I started tanning at tanning salon and my skin and overall health has never been better! Cured my chronic eczema ♡
T3 is dual voltage which is such a godsend for international traveling! just need to bring the adapter for the plug. for $600, you'd think Dyson would do it too. love my t3!
It’s annoying but moisturise hours before. I drown in moisturiser and then a few hours later I put on tan. I swear by the bondi sands ultra dark. I’m Scottish but have a yellow undertone, so I am HERE for a green undertone tan. I do tend to sleep in mine, but it does only technically need 6 hours so also work from home and steep in it all day. It also smells like coconuts.
Absolutely gorgeous Allana. I’m with you and have given up alcohol and don’t even have for social occasions and can’t say I miss it and I e never felt better ❤❤
I find fake tan such a faff and it always looks streaky on me, so I've mostly given up. However, on the rare occasion when I feel it's worth the effort, I use gradual tan the week prior, because the different applications avoid any obvious streaks. Tan Luxe has worked well for me. But if you do a deep dive into self tanners and find a foolproof one/technique I'd love to see that.
A trick I use is to curl my hair, hairspray it, put on my makeup, then run my fingers through my hair and hair spray again 😊. Thanks for all the content 👏🏼♥️
Yes to girl-talk-focus-group chat!! I need more of this. Def looking forward to any tan tips that arise from the experiments to come! You fake-awake pretty-lady style-can’t even tell you feel like a zombie Lan! xo
Which color of the St.Tropez Mousse is Victoria using? I´m so pale and go always with the lightest but maybe this is the problem of not getting the tan I want 🤔😆
OK i NEED the sun kissed blush !!!!! I definitely cannot handle drinking anymore. It’s like they older I got the sicker I was the next day lolol🤢🤢🤢 Love yall👑✝️❤️🙏
I’d highly recommend trying salty face tanning water. Application is always even, colour is great, never transfers in sheets and uses natural ingredients I think so you don’t get that weird gross tan smell.
Tip for the pale gals that are also very dry! Shower, shave, deep moisturize. Then later (I do the evening) shower off the moisturizer and immediately tan. Try to find something you won’t sweat in to sleep in and then I shower the next morning and either reapply or moisturize.
Try dolce glow products! I have tried what seems like every version of the every brand that exists and the aerosol self tanning spray from dolce glow is soooo easy and it works!
Fair skin girl here as well, deff gonna try to use the regular tans rather than express. Also, I alwaysssss have a weird smell to me when I fake tan!!! How do we stop it?

I feel like the UK girls always know how to do the best fake tans! I've tried many over the years and I still feel like loving tan is the best but I usually don't want to order it to Canada or spend that much so I like the tanologist dark tan water mousse!
You can and should enjoy the sun. It’s good for us. Just don’t burn. Get a healthy amount then get in the shade or cover up. On the fake tan thing, I am also a dry skin gal and the way I have found is to shower, exfoliate and moisturise and give that plenty of time to sink in, then tan later.
Can you plzzzzz try the salty face tanning products. They are local to BC and I’m so curious. They are suppose to be all natural. I’m getting absolutely pummeled with ads 😂
I’m pale too, have grown up in Australia.. so 🤷♀️ I need tan so I get it !! Fake all the way, tried so many tanning products Bondi Sands or Le Tan in Ash is great 👍 ❤
Exfoliate and moisturise the day before, don’t shower the next day so the moisturiser is still active then apply the tan and sit in it all day then shower just before bed. Perfect every time. Alternatively why not try a DHA free tan (utan stock some) to see if you’re allergic to the DHA
Laughing my ass actually off because my first Lan vid was a beer festival in Calgary. 😂 Trying the Atoderm shower oil cleanser might help with post shower blech. ❤ So sad EDM is almost over 😢
my mom used some kind of eyedrops that helped whiten her eyeballs before. Then an ophthalmology talked her out of it since long term use can lead to blindness. I’m not sure if it is the same kind as the one you use. I don’t want to spread false info but I hope you check with your doctor

I came here to say this!! Exactly this! Plus the new and improved formula doesn’t have the stink factor. Also solves any dry skin issues.

it's so crazy right?! It makes me wonder how I ever survived drinking 3-5+ days per week 🙃

Loved every minute of having time with you my babe ❤❤❤❤
Got me teary eyed when u talked about Amelia! Two of my favorite Internet Girlies having a blast together ❤
What’s her TH-cam?
That blush combo is 😘 So glad you’ve had such a fun time with the Brits. I’ve started using Utan & it’s amazing. The cherry almond scent is divine ❤
My girllll what was the glitter topper you put on?
St. Tropez personally, is my favorite! It gives me the most natural, olive color!
Salty Face is the only tan I have ever used that didn't make me smell like death walking and the color is impeccable!
Please share your tanning mousse journey!! I am so inept at my fake tanning and would love to see you what you try and how it works!
I use the st tropez (original white bottle mousse) or bondi sands (cool tone) mousse. I don't use lotion beforehand, but I do use a coarse scrub on my arms and legs. I love the entire group. You and Victoria are truly my ultimate favourite TH-camrs ❤️❤️
Ciao Allana!
Miss you Meryl
Soo happy you are in Ibiza with the ghwarls!! Have fun, your hair still looking blowdryhairAF! Adore❤
Yasss, loving Nudestix glow!! You look gorgeous luv. Have fun!x
I loooooove that yellow of your top, it’s perfect 🌟🌟🌟
I really need an orange blush look! Missing your brand trips with orange blush. I was re-watching every-day-may from other years, and was reminded of the Benefit trip. one of my favorite every day may years
Okay you have to try the Bali body ultra dark tan! It’s actually hydrating for being a mousse! I swear by it.
You can use the isle of paradise tanning drops with your moisturizer! But I find they also smell
I love a dark tan but am naturally quite pale. I like the Skinny Tan serum and clear ultra dark mousse - sometimes together...
I love the part in this convo that is about tanning🎉 full support here
😮Yes, we are the tan fam 😎🌞. I really like the big barrel hair size on that curling iron. I'll see if you have it linked...yep, you do, yay! Awe, what a fun gals trip 💗

Ugh not ready for Everyday May to be over. I literally watch these videos while I get ready every morning.
me too!

Have you tried the badass tanner from white fox ? I got it and totally love it ❤
Absolutely gorgeous Allana. I’m with you and have given up alcohol and don’t even have for social occasions and can’t say I miss it and I e never felt better ❤❤
on my journey to be sober, ive replaced alcohol with sparkling water. it really helps

My new fav "I'm a hella pale girlie, I just want to look.....not dead" tan is the Beauty By Earth tanning lotion
Yes to girl-talk-focus-group chat!! I need more of this. Def looking forward to any tan tips that arise from the experiments to come! You fake-awake pretty-lady style-can’t even tell you feel like a zombie Lan! xo

OK i NEED the sun kissed blush !!!!! I definitely cannot handle drinking anymore. It’s like they older I got the sicker I was the next day lolol🤢🤢🤢
Love yall👑✝️❤️🙏
I’d highly recommend trying salty face tanning water. Application is always even, colour is great, never transfers in sheets and uses natural ingredients I think so you don’t get that weird gross tan smell.
The drinking talk… I needed that
i feel you gal! xx
Bought the Picante Nudestix trio last summer and brought it to my Mexico trip last week. It was the bomb!!! ❤️picante 🌶️🇲🇽
that yellow on you!!!! WOW....love
I wish I was there, one place I always wanted to go. What sparkle did you ou use on your eyes?
I’m a loving tan and Bondi Sands lover. Both in express tan in the shade dark. And I’m pale af ❤
What was the second eyeshadow used (the shimmer one)?
it's the old shiseido aura dew 🥹😭
Curious, why not try the spray tan method? Would that not be less messy and more even coverage on the body?
Tip for the pale gals that are also very dry! Shower, shave, deep moisturize. Then later (I do the evening) shower off the moisturizer and immediately tan. Try to find something you won’t sweat in to sleep in and then I shower the next morning and either reapply or moisturize.
You’ve convinced me, must try the spf blush
Did she say she was using the shade “22” in the Armani eye tint? Thx! 🤗
yes!!! 💕
What hairbrush are you using while curling your hair? :)
Have you tried the B Tan gel tanner?
Dry girl tanning routine for an event;
1. Exfoliate all week leading up to my tan and after each shower I use a thiiiiccck borderline body butter. (Naturium Glow Getter or thicker)
2. Night before my tan I have a good soak in the tub, exfoliate with a loofa sheet and shave. Follow up with the thiiicccck location.
3. Next morning apply lotion to my dry areas; hands, knees, elbows, feet. Let that soak in for ar least 15 mins. I currently tan using St Tropez express and a mitt (but this method works for me with any mousse as long as it’s not expired ;)) If I want it going to the beach dark I will leave on for 3-4 hours and after I shower off the tan, I apply THICK lotion. I do think practice will help. ❤
I feel like the UK girls always know how to do the best fake tans! I've tried many over the years and I still feel like loving tan is the best but I usually don't want to order it to Canada or spend that much so I like the tanologist dark tan water mousse!
what did you use for the eye sparkle?
the makeup is so pretty 💛
You can and should enjoy the sun. It’s good for us. Just don’t burn. Get a healthy amount then get in the shade or cover up. On the fake tan thing, I am also a dry skin gal and the way I have found is to shower, exfoliate and moisturise and give that plenty of time to sink in, then tan later.
Girl this might be my absolute favorite makeup look you’ve done! It like makes your eyes and skin pop and glow! Amazing
I just love your makeup here!
Can you plzzzzz try the salty face tanning products. They are local to BC and I’m so curious. They are suppose to be all natural. I’m getting absolutely pummeled with ads 😂
haha I have it tbh!!! haven't tried tho sos
Ouuu Try it and let the people know! I don’t trust all the 5 star reviews on there site 😂 seems too good to be true
Allana, please try spray tan & share your journey with us! 🤍
What was the sparkle shadeee
"Without being told that we're *killing our body*" 😂😂 so true
Maybe try the Coco & Eve or Luna Bronze. I prefer both to St. Tropez. ❤
I’m pale too, have grown up in Australia.. so 🤷♀️ I need tan so I get it !! Fake all the way, tried so many tanning products Bondi Sands or Le Tan in Ash is great 👍 ❤
Lumify is doing the lords work
There’s few things in the world that’s better than some girl time! 💕
Your skin looks great ❤
That blush combo is gorgeous!
Go to a salon and get a spray tan is great it goes even and it last longer
I wish I could look like that when I’m tired…you sure looked good 😊
Omg literally!! I had ONE glass of prosecco the other night and I slept so bad and felt so shit the next day hahah
Armani eyeshadow 22 dupes???
Try letting your skin absorb the lotion first, an hour to few hours then but the tan on
Exfoliate and moisturise the day before, don’t shower the next day so the moisturiser is still active then apply the tan and sit in it all day then shower just before bed. Perfect every time. Alternatively why not try a DHA free tan (utan stock some) to see if you’re allergic to the DHA
Laughing my ass actually off because my first Lan vid was a beer festival in Calgary. 😂
Trying the Atoderm shower oil cleanser might help with post shower blech. ❤
So sad EDM is almost over 😢
I'm fair-skinned and prefer a light tan and my faves are TanLuxe The Gradual and Vita Liberata Fabulous Gradual Tanner.👌
What are this eye drops please?!
We need to know - was there a shower at the airport?! or did you go the full flight as a tan smell gal
my mom used some kind of eyedrops that helped whiten her eyeballs before. Then an ophthalmology talked her out of it since long term use can lead to blindness. I’m not sure if it is the same kind as the one you use. I don’t want to spread false info but I hope you check with your doctor
