Love your videos! Your one of the very very few that show graphs, charts, and spreadsheets. I would like to beg a major favor. I’m not good at math, so I don’t know how to calculate the odds and percentages of a craps system I created. I would like to ask you if you could make a video for me here to show it. I have found a way to nullify the Pass line and still make true free odds bets with No house edge, risking Only the true free odds bet(s). The first part of the one, two setup is as follows. At a $5 table, the player bets $5 on the Pass line, & ALSO @ THE SAME TIME, $5 on the Don’t Pass line. The object is not on the winning side, but on cutting the losing side down to as small as possible. The only way the player can Lose is if the shooter rolls a 12 on the come out roll. Everything else is a push/tie, or the shooter establishes a point, which is what the player wants. I know that there is only ONE way to roll a 12 out of 36 combinations of the dice, but I don’t know what that percentage is, or what this cuts the house edge down to, which is where I need your help. .... phases Two.: Once the shooter establishes a point, then the 12 can not hurt us any more, & also the house edge that comes from the Pass line is now Nullified by the Don’t Pass line, & the only bet at risk is the true free odds bet the player is going to make now next to the Pass line. That is the basic theory, however I always want more combinations working for me, than against me, because the 7 has 6 combinations out of 36. How the player gets more numbers is doing the above, but waits on putting the odds bet down. Once the point is established the player then puts a $5 bet in the Come, & also @ the same time, put $5 in the Don’t Come too. The 12 is against the player again just like it was on the other bet until we get another number established. Now once the shooter rolls and establishes a second number the Come, & Don’t Come travel to that new second number. The player wants any two even numbers (4,6,8, or 10) including or excluding the point. Example when the player has a 6 & 8 established then take odds on both 6 & 8 at the same time, because then the player has 10 ways (combinations) to win, and 6 ways (combinations of the 7) of losing, instead of with only one number with less combinations of winning, and still 6 ways of losing. If the 4, or 10 is a number that gets established, you have two options. You can stay on the right side and take odds that way, or you can lay $14 odds against the 4 or 10 & Also put $2 on the Hard 4 or 10. The second way will create a hedge if you have one of your other numbers as a 6 or 8 with single odds on the 6 or 8. If the 7 is rolled, then you lose your odds on the 6 or 8, but win on the no 4 or 10 and it becomes a push/tie. If you choose to take the second option the only way you can lose is on a Soft 4 or 10, which is 2 combinations of 36. You have cut your ways of losing as low as possible and have free odds working for you with no house edge. Please feel free to critique this, and if you have any questions I’ll be more than happy to answer you. Thanks in advance for helping me.

Your strategy was fine until you started making Hard Ways bets. There are all kinds of craps strategies but none of them work in the long run.

To maximize your chance of winning, stick to Pass, Don't Pass, Come, Don't Come (all 1.4% house edge), and taking or laying the odds on those bets (0% house edge). Don't make other bets, which have much worse odds.

G Chang .... First, Thanks for responding to me! ... The only reason I use the $2 Hard Way bets is to cut down the potential loss from 3 ways of making a 4 or 10, down to only 2 ways of losing with a soft 4 or 10. It’s to gain extra advantage of the 7 with 6 ways vs 2 ways. I only promote the Hard Ways when they are used as extra insurance against the 4 or 10 only.

G Chang .... Can you give me the math answers I need? What percentage is the house edge cut down to when a player bets both ways at the same time? And the other math question was what is the odds and percentage of the shooter rolling the 12 which is the only number that the player can lose on? (1 out of 36)

You're using the Hard Ways bet for hedging your other bets. Hedging makes you lose less when you lose, and win less when you win. Why hedge? You're gambling to either win or lose. If you want to break even, don't gamble.

    Payout on the 5 is 6 to 4 not 6 to 5.

Isnt it better to just bet bigger on the dont pass instead of laying odds? That way it pays 1:1 regardless of the roll.

You're not allowed to bet on Don't Pass after the point is thrown. Maybe you mean Don't Come. The Don't Come bet has a 1.4% house edge, whereas laying the odds has a 0% house edge.

What I mean is, why not bet $50 on the Don’t Pass. If a 7 rolls, you win $50. If the point rolls, you lose $50
Whereas if you bet $10 on the dont pass, lay odds of $40 and the point is a 10, you only get $30 ($10 dont pass) ($20 laid odds) when a 7 rolls but lose $50 if the point is rolled.
In short lets say the point is 10.
if the bet is $50 on the don’t pass, it pays 1:1. You get $50.
If the bet is $50 (10 dont pass, 40 laid odds) you win $30.

It is because laying the odds is more likely to win than to lose. That's why the payoff is less than 1 to 1. In the long run, laying the odds returns 100% of what you bet (given that win more often than lose, exactly compensating for the lower payoff), whereas the Don't Pass bet returns 98.6% of what you bet (slightly less than 50-50 chance of winning).

@@johnpaulsasotona9083 for anyone reading this the maxing your odds bet on pass or dont pass is always the best bet, not doing it is always wrong. on a don't pass bet most of your risk is upfront, on the come out roll you have 3/36 chance of wining 1:1 and 9/36 chance of losing, but once a point is established you have 6/36 chance of winning 1:2 2:3 5:6 depending on the point and 3/36, 4/36, 5/36 chance of losing depending on the point. regardless of the point number you are always in favor of the win for a don't pass/don't come bet once the roll is established. for DP/DC the risk is front loaded on the come out roll, yet your bet size is a fraction of your potential odds multiplier. front load the risk on a bet of $1, once a point is established and the probability is in your favor, now you can bet big.TLDR: always use odds bets, always max your odds bet, never bet anything besides DP and DC, you are now playing as close to a coin flip as possible, lowest house edge possible in craps, lowest house edge out of any game i've seen in any casino, as long as the casino allows x3 odds or higher its better than perfect blackjack play and simple as shit. play until you win 50% of your money and stop. never gamble again, congratulations you are a winner.
