@pokehacker yeah, it looks exactly like him! If i remember correctly, his name was Lickety Split and was one of the plob's big three. And you kill them both by inserting a spiky object into their facial parts.
I almost got no damage the first time I fought Phytops, but he brought me from 7-8 hearts of health down to 1 heart when I fought him again in Take 'Em All On. Fraaz was the opposite: nearly killed me in the Snow Temple, but I wiped the floor with him in Take 'Em All On. XD

You have to admit, this thing is stupid, it's practically asking to be killed (it did stick a tendril out, just so that Link stick a thorn in its face).
My least favorite boss in Spirit Tracks, particularly in 'Take Em All On'. Its screams made me turn down the volume. Slip up just once and the tentacles can knock you off the ledge for big damage. It's also unpredictable with the ground-level tentacles, which you have to get close to in order to inflict damage. Yuck.

This boss is easy, even Fraaz is harder. Still a lot of fun though.

That "battle cry" sounds like someone with an already hourse voice trying to throw a temper tantrum
This boss is weird. I either breeze through it no damage, or get constantly stun-locked off the cliff each time he attacks
