I prefer playing with one player at the table with me and that player betting big to take eyes off of me. But if I’m not worried about that, then solo is fine. Ultimately it doesn’t change the cards in any statistical way. It doesn’t hurt you or help you win or lose on a single hand. It may slow your game down, which benefits most people in terms of their hourly loss, but it won’t affect their expected loss per hand.
