Hi, Chloe! Thank you for the behind the scenes look at how much trial and error goes into designing a pattern. I can't wait to see them in your online store! Also, out of curiosity - is the game your husband's playing the new Legend of Zelda? 😆
Thank you ❤️ and nope, he's playing Diablo on the PS5 😅..he waited a long time for its release 😂. But he did play the other Zelda games so maybe that'll be his next one 😂
I've been practicing making patterns these past few days. And I don't know if I'm doing it right. 😅 The only books/magazines that I can reference to are for knitting, since it was what I collected eons ago when I started knitting. Which of course will not be of any help, since they are different. P.S. I really ❤ your toys and I'm saving in order to buy some patterns. I'm from the Philippines, and there's a HUGE difference in our currency. Hence, I need to save. 😅😅😅
There's a lot of free patterns online to reference how to write patterns. I definitely suggest starting with basic designs before going for more complex ones 😀. Good luck and hopefully I'll see your future designs soon ☺️
Love seeing all the behind the scenes of pattern design ~ and what a cute pattern! It takes such talent to create your own patterns and your design as well as the art for it is sooo cute! Love it ✨✨✨🫶🏻
The amount of frogging hurts 😢 But it's always an extra achievement to see it completed the way we intended it after all those attempts 🥰 Your Japan-inspired collection is super kawaii; it makes me look forward to go to Japan myself
Yes... sometimes it just has to be done.. I wouldn't be comfortable putting something out if I'm not happy with it..I think that's the perfectionist side of me 😅
Thank you 😊. If you mean making the toys a larger size, I would use chunky/blanket yarn, which will require a larger hook as well. The toys will triple in size 😄
@anirasiani9043 Ahh, yes, it can be difficult, it s a bit of trial and error. If it helps, I use the baby snuggly yarn with a 6mm hook to make larger versions of my cotton makes 😊
I have been obsessing over these patterns!! You are so creative and talented! 😍 Cannot wait to purchase the patterns and try to recreate these!
Thank you ❤️, that means a lot 😊

Such amazing work! Do you use testers or a tech editor for your designs?
Thank you ❤️. I use testers to test my patterns before releasing them 😀
It was so sad watching you pull apart something you’d spent so long crocheting, I can only imagine how sad it was for you 🥺
It was so hard to make that decision at the time 😅 but so much happier with the final result 😁
Amazing. Can i ask you how to make crochet pattern more bigger ?thank u

Sometimes I also use chunky thread but the results are not as desired...😁😁. Btw thank u

How you make this
I started with a sketch, and then lots of trial and error with the shapes before I made the final product 😃
