I’m a pre-K teacher, so I spend all day every day with 4 year olds. Everything you got Lex is perfect for children his age. I love that you focus on learning when you buy their toys. It doesn’t have to be all electronics.
As an autistic adult myself, I want to say how much I appreciate the loving and respectful way you talk about your special needs children. Too many parents talk about their kids as if they are a burden or broken. It is really refreshing and gives me hope seeing your obvious love for your kids and the way you are encouraging their positive traits and interests instead of stifling them. Your kids will flourish because of your love. The world needs more parents like you.
My 3 year old has that vacuum. He got it for Christmas last year. He’s almost 4 so it’s a little short for him now but he still plays with it daily. He LOVES it
I have the sensory swing for my son. Had it for years and he still loves it. It’s his snuggly cocoon-safe place where he decompresses. It’s been amazing.
Totally understand what you mean by filming taking the joy out of watching your kids open gifts. I’m always the one trying to get pictures of everyone! Mom of 5 currently #6 coming in June! You could always set the camera up in a corner of the room and let it record. That way you can see everyone and then you have it to look back on for yourself!
I love how amazing you are with the boys' special needs! I was diagnosed with my disorder in college and I would have been all over all the sensory stuff growing up
I think you got good things! I feel your boys are going to be really happy! I hope they are! Plus looks like you put in plenty of thought! That is a great mom!! You try to help your kids progress in life not hold them back like many parents do. My boys are not little or have any problems like yours but I enjoyed watching what you got yours.!! My sons are 39, 20, and 17 . All over 6 feet tall. Mom in shortest! May youngest was a premie but he had no real problems after birth but breathing. He had oxygen for 2-3 months and a monitor for 6 months. But he is great and healthy now and an A student at school. My oldest had trouble in school but my other 2 were and are great students! Thank God I have good sons! There is only me now for them. They lost their dad and step dad with in 2 years of each other. Their step dad was the main father figure for them all, next to their grandpa. And they lost him and Step dad with in 3?months of each other. But my dad was a blessing he had dementia and was pretty gone when he passed. But we know he is happy and healthy now.
I love everything you got for the kids this year! And I totally understand the Christmas morning thing. When you have a pretty large family, it's really nice to just take time to enjoy it instead of adding extra stress to the holidays. I hope you're doing another wrap with me video! Love your Christmas vlogs!
@@OurLANDingCrew8 Awesome! Thank you for the response. Your wrapping video was really good motivation for me to get my procrastinator self wrapping my own gifts last year!
I love that Melissa and Doug grocery store! My son is 11 now, but I can’t tell u how many times we played store when he was a toddler, all the way to 1st 2nd grade!! I would have totally bought that if I had seen it then!! I actually saw it was on Black Friday and called all my friends who had little ones!!🤪
*personalised childrens books* is what i got for 2 young book lovers - it made for really great gifts due to the tailor made feature the books had, creating for a more customized and personalised experience
My kids are getting that one stop shop market as well from their grandparents! I have no idea where we are going to put it, but my almost 9 year old really wanted it and Im sure the 6 and 3 year old will love it too, the all love playing toy kitchen/ food together and I want to still encourage that even though she is getting older and Im not sure how much longer she will want to engage in imaginary play with her siblings.
You're one of the best mom's I've ever seen on TH-cam. You care SO much about your children, no matter what and that just makes me so happy! Merry Christmas yall 💜🎄
I respect you guys for choosing to change things up this year when it come to sharing Xmas morning, I’m still looking forward to what you guys do choose to post. No worries those of us that really love y’all understand. Oxoxo from Asheville!!!!
I got my daughter the picnic box but it didnt have the top part like that. 2 years ago we got that at christmas she was 7 months and she's 2.5yrs now and still loves it more than ever before.
Susan Sumner I’m in PA, yes Toys R Us! I took my baby to the store when he was about 7 months even though he obviously wouldn’t remember. I used to roll quarters to buy a Barbie from them when I was a kid!
You can do it like I do . I set a camera up somewhere in the room where it can see everything that happens in the room and film my kids that way. Love watching back years later of our Christmas morning. You’ll love having the videos of them that way all of you can be in it and it see you all opening them.
the snowsuit is perfect, I'm from Florida and now living in Wyoming and my husband's family is in Colorado so we do a lot of trips. It snows from Oct-April here so warm clothes is necessary and that includes snow gear!
My little guy is on the spectrum and he LOVES his trampoline (it is the same one you showed) It has held up so well. We have had it for 4 years and it is still going strong!!!
The 3 small toys and the walker you got for your baby girl we got for my daughter either for christmas when she was one or for her first birthday. AND she is still obsessed with all 3 of those toys and still uses those turning 2. So amazing job on your shopping 💘 I love the video
Of course I would have loved watching a Christmas opening video but I’m actually happy for you that you’re not doing it this year since it is the holiday of love and (to me) family. TH-cam has sort of become your profession and that shouldn’t be part of anyone’s Christmas 😊 enjoy the family time as long as you can and don’t feel pressured into filming anything that you’d rather keep private💚
I have the Melissa and Doug grocery store. It was worth every penny I paid for it! It has a built in keypad, scanner, and drawer for the money. The scanner sounds identical to the real ones in stores. Those magnatiles are popular as well.
I'm Colorado native . The snow suit and snow coat is not over kill if your going to the mountains most years our mountains will have snow on them until April /may. We got our last snow storm last year in late May . And yes wear layers it could be 80 one day and 32 degrees the next. Just be prepared.
Snow storm? Huh? Clearwater has white SAND. It's freezing tonight and I'm already over it!! Did you ever notice Danielle and Penelope look so much alike? I love it!
When I was younger, I had a kitchen set along with toy food, toy wooden food cans, the Velcro food you can cut, a shopping cart, and little boxes and cans from around the house that we weren’t using anymore. I loved it so much! I recently got rid of some of it, but I still have the actual kitchen in the basement. I think Lex will really like the grocery store thing to add to the kitchen! Edit: my middle school Spanish teacher has that cash register from 12:18! I really liked it 😂 we used it when doing shopping skits and stuff like that. This also reminded me of all the research I did for a camera, and I never ended up choosing one! Maybe I’ll revisit that soon... I was also super into Harry Potter for a few years and my dad looked to see if they had any games, but there weren’t any games out at the time. It makes me really happy to hear that they’re making games for the next generation of Harry Potter lovers though!
You've given me great ideas for my baby girl she'll be 5 months by the time Christmas rolls around and we plan on getting her toys she can play with in the coming months. I need to get those magna tiles for my 5 year old. He's on the spectrum so also likes toys that are usually aimed at those who are younger and he would love those ones.
Your children are fortunate for being able to have a nice Christmas. I fell on hard times this past June. I was hoping this would have been the year Santa got my son a computer for home school and maybe an I pad, as he'll be turning 15 Jan. 2 but seems I have this black cloud over me but I love watching all the "what I got my kids for Christmas" :)
We have the Melissa and Doug market and a big wooden play kitchen and they are probably the most played with toys we have. My boys are almost 3 and 5.5! It was a great investment and have survived a year with my tornado children
These are such fantastic gifts, I love the thought you put into all of them. It could be neat to even purchase a plastic egg tray for the fridge and you could put a couple in there. That way Lex's special eggs are cold and he still gets the sensory of it.
Oh, yayayayay the Thomas roller coaster will help Liam so much with his gross motor skills and trust as well to be able to push himself down the little humps! Ahhhhh I love it. You did such a great job. Gonna have some happy kiddos on Christmas!! Thank you
Brilliant.... I no how you feel we have 13 kids 11 of them still at home plus 10 grandchildren it’s just crazy.... but what a crazy but wonderful time to share the love.... Your children are going to love there presence hope you al like our selfs have fun Rapping everything up...💖👍🏼😉
Love your gifts! And I understand about Christmas morning. You got to spend it with your family. Don't worry about TH-cam lol! You do you! Thanks for sharing!
The lego harry potter games are amazing. I had it for my wii when i was younger and it's still my favorite game. Just recently bought it again. All of the lego games are actually really fun and good for all ages
I have that same cocoon swing as well I got it last year and love it sooooo much even though I'm 28, it really helps my autism with stimming and this year I got a reclining swing, love both of them and even sleep in the reclining swing
Ok. Awesome! I love how thoughtful that the gifts are. You are such a great mom and I love that. I think that Noah would love the camera! Honestly, I would too! I also like photography! Also, I love how you got the Harry Potter Lego games! I absolutely love that because I am such a Potterhead. That is ok. It is super fun to watch TH-camrs Christmas mornings, but that is totally ok. Family is super important and Christmas is supposed to be fun. Keeping things fun and private for your family is normal and ok. Just enjoy your time together!
I used to work at walmart and those toys like that all come in those individual boxes and id bet if you opened it its in the packing like youd see on the shelf at the store
A little late, but the trampoline at 09:26, my twelve (I think) year old nephew, who is non verbal autistic loves loves loves it!!! He also loves going on TH-cam on his tablet or phone.
Love seeing toys!! I am looking forward to seeing you all in your Colorado trip!! We have just had our first snow in N.J., so magical!! Pretty cool toys!! Probably one of my favorite character is Pikachu!! I do understand how Noah feels when the elves leave my grandchildren feel the same way!! Happy you will keep somethings private on Christmas!!! Love you guys!!
You have so much already! I would love to hear you talk about your shopping strategy. Online vs in store. Do it all in one exhausting day? Do it over time? My shopping seems to drag on all month. I need tips!
I struggle with the same thing. Like I can't figure out the balance between filming and enjoying the event. I went to see Christmas lights at my local speedway and was too busy filming to actually enjoy it. Yeah I did get a lot of footage. But it was an event I partly missed out on because of filming!! So while I'll miss seeing the kids open their gifts I totally get what you're saying!! Enjoy Christmas and you're kids faces light up as they open the gifts.
100%. And my natural instinct is to grab the camera to capture funny/sweet moments but then I remember that I need to enjoy life without a camera in all of our faces. So we are learning the balance.
You're prolly done Christmas shopping but my target by me had peinguins about twice as big for like 40 or 50 bucks and they stand up and have like boning imbeded into it. So soft too!!
I love To Watching Vlog-Mas and Other And I Enjoyed It Myself , Please Don’t Take Kids Joyous Moment it on there Day because it’s encouragement to see them happy to see presents under the tree do you want to see that .
That cash register u bought is amazing! I have gifted it many times and am always told it gets played with all of the time (my son loves it when he was little)!💕
Will you be doing a video wrapping their gifts? Is it weird that I like watching that? I think so. Lol either way I'm glad all is well! Happy holidays!
Oooooo. I love and respect your choice of not filming on Christmas morning so much. I think u will see a change as well, they kind of seemed a little camera shy or awkward opening presents and having their real reactions to them. I'm excited for you! Yay
That slide is the best my daughter absolutely loved it well worth the money..... man I was hoping for some teenage girl gifts I’m having a hard time with her this year
My brother got that Cash register for Christmas about 5 years ago and me and him played with it SO much. We finally broke after 2 years of none stop play. I’m sure Lex will love it. P.s. my nickname is Lex. Hehe
I recommend getting animal crossing for Nintendo Switch for Noah . It’s the best game you can get for a person on the autism spectrum. I’m 22 almost 23 year old with high functioning autism and severe ADHD. When I was younger I was given animal crossing for ds. Animal crossing has thought me so much in means with communication with others. Before animal crossing I hardly communicated with people. Without this video game I don’t think I would be where I am today .
I got the leap pad ultimate ready for school tablet. I didn’t want the electronics without mostly educational games or activities tied to it. I’m excited about this for my almost 4 year old. Maybe next year or a birthday Lex would like this?

i know I am kind of randomly asking but do anybody know of a good website to stream newly released series online ?
The way you talk about supporting your children’s interests seriously warms my heart. You’re such a wonderful mother.
I'm a grown ass adult and I really would love the kitchen set. All the fun of grocery shopping and none of the money. Lol.
Gerald Lol I’m an older kid buy same 😂

YAY! I did good this year LOL
I'm glad you are taking your Christmas morning openings back for yourselves, you deserve to be able to focus on the kids and be in the moment!

Sorry I'm replying to a comment from a year ago, but yes! I agree! It's something I always love to see in her videos!
Honestly I don't blame you on the not filming the kids opening presents. Spend time enjoying them opening their presents.
I agree

My mom has a daycare and I tell her to get the toy vacuums so the kids will learn to help clean 😂
xCanYouFeelTheLovex this just reminded me of the toy vacuum I had as a kid, I completely forgot about it! I loved it so much.
That slide is the best my daughter absolutely loved it well worth the money..... man I was hoping for some teenage girl gifts I’m having a hard time with her this year
I grew up in a 6 kid family. Seems accurate 😂
You cut down this year good
We also have magma tiles and I want to worn you that they can pinch!😅
I’ve been waiting for this video yayyyy
I love stuff like this! It is fun and gives me some ideas
Kayla k yes March 20 2020 on the switch
That penguin Is so cute
Would you be able to do a review on the min trampoline you got ?
I got the leap pad ultimate ready for school tablet. I didn’t want the electronics without mostly educational games or activities tied to it. I’m excited about this for my almost 4 year old. Maybe next year or a birthday Lex would like this?
Wow 6 kids you've done Amazing xx
