I decided that when people tell me I have a baby face, I tell them they look really old and didn’t age very well... I don’t see any reason why they get a pass to comment on me at will. I’m more than happy to tell people they look old.

I was almost 30 when people stopped asking me how high school was going. I'm 50 now and sometimes I have to explain that yes I actually was born in the 60's.
I know. When I worked at a College campus for 10 years, random students would ask me "So what are you studying?" My response: "I just work here."
The best thing about having a baby face is having to pay half the amount an adult has to pay on trains and buses. Can also still order the kids meal at nandos

Well I was at the theater once and I think a lady mistook me for a child waiting to meet the lead singer of the production and nudged me forward so I ended up getting the autograph of a singer/actor I really liked because I looked like a little girl... Only good thing that ever came out of not looking my age. At 25 I couldn't go to the library to return books and try to get a volunteer gig without getting flagged down by tutors who all thought I was the teenage student they were supposed to meet.

Just earlier this year, my mum was talking to this woman I'd never seen before. I'd come home from work and even before I'd said anything, the woman looked at me and shouted "She's 17?! She's not 17!! She looks about 13!" Fml. People are so rude sometimes.

I kind of like looking younger than what I really am though, so it isn't that bad. By the way, when I said I have always looked younger than what I really was, I wasn't joking. When I was 2 I still looked like a fetus.

I agree. I love it because I am going to turn 28 in a few months and people mistake me for 19! It makes me feel good because someday I will grow older. I'm 21 and look 16. Get carded for R16 movies all the time. Also sick of people saying "oh but you'll appreciate it when you're older." Like, you don't understand why it's irritating being an adult who gets treated like a child, it's all condensation and looks of shock when you tell them how old you are. For example before one of my uni classes I was looking around a store, and the lady working there (probably only a couple of years older than me, if that) was like "So do you have a day off school today?" my reply, "er no, I'm in here before my *_university lectures_*". And it's ridiculously true about the whole dating thing. No one takes me seriously as an adult because they think I'm so young, always get weird side eyes like 'who is this child hitting on me?'. Also super awkward with the whole 15-18 year old boys giving me 'the eye', like no thank you, I'm not a cradle snatcher.

The worst so far was earlier this year when the waiter stopped at the table my family was eating at to check and make sure none of us were under 12. My sister, who was 16, has been mistaken for a university student numerous times, and I was almost 19 at this point. Under 12? I'd like to think I look no younger than 14 by now.
The funniest was when I took my little sister to her high school orientation day for grade 10. This was just after I'd graduated and I was wandering the halls a little nostalgically, and two 11th graders asked if I was lost. They seemed really embarrassed when I told them I had already graduated.

My mom has a baby face and she's almost 50. One time I was out with her and I ran into one of my guy friends. They never seen my mom before and when they saw me they asked, "whose you're cute friend?" and my mom looked appalled and I was just really embarrassed. Another time my mom was in line to get food and I noticed some high school kids talking about her and checking her out and it was just sooo awkward. My mom dislikes it, but the fact she knows she looks young kind of boosts her spirits LOL.

I am 18 years old and somehow have the exact opposite of a Baby face. I look significantly older than I am, most people think I am in my midtwenties.
So people always think that my mother and I are sisters. There was this one guy who thought we were twins and when I asked him who he thinks is the older one, he pointed at me and said „You obviously“. I didnt know if I should cry or laugh.
Another time I had to bring a selfie to art class for an art project. The teacher looked at my Photo and said that my friend looked really cute and seems to be very nice. It was my mother.
And the other time a guy came up to my older brother and was trying to hit on his „sister“. Turns out he wasn‘t interested in me but in my mother.
And the List goes on and on....

My life. People have been telling me I'll appreciate how young I look when I'm older since I was 18. I'm 28 now and nope. And getting hit on by kids freaks me out. I was hit on by a 16 year old because he thought I was 18... I was horrified.
