"At present, FV has been carved out for INDAS 40". Does this mean for both initial & subsequent accounting? or only for subsequent accounting? Madam, will pl clarify.

Yes, Investment property has to be valued at cost model for both initial and subsequent accounting. But this standard requires all entities to measure the fair value of investment property for disclosure purpose.
