@@driftingingilliganexplorin4409 I’m a couple of years behind you before I do my Murray river trip. I am retrofitting a 21 foot pontoon boat into a mini trailerable houseboat. I have just finished the trailer upgrade. We live in WA so we will be travelling across the country hitting waterways on the way. I have mounted 2x110 litre fuel tanks and a 2020 70 hp Suzuki outboard. Look for our post on TH-cam next year as we go through the build. The boat will be called “RIVER RAT”
Hi there, where exactly is Whirlpool Bend? Watching your vids and loving it...spend a lot of time on the Riverland around Katarpko etc but can't find where Whirlpool Bned is? Can you also tell me what make / model your tinnier is? Cheers, Foxy
Hi, I'm away camping for the weekend so don't have my books with me buy I think it was about 30 km above Renmark just past Murtho. Not too sure about the tinnie it was my sons but I but an older style Evenrude 25 on it. Think the shape is called a V nose punt. Thanks for watching 😊
@@driftingingilliganexplorin4409 Wish I was doing what you are best way to see the river did in a house boat for a week years agony fishing and yabbiing how many yabbies did you catch cheers rick
Living my dream you lucky old fella.
Enough of the old 😊
No offence intended. Figure of speech. I’m 63. Battling cancer. I feel old.
@@kennyscott1089 sorry to hear, good luck with everything
All going good I think. I’m gonna be back up the river as soon as I get the ok. Love to catch up with you sometime
@@kennyscott1089 yep that would be great
Looks like a whole lot of fun as you drift on Gilligan
Where did you get your docking ramp.
I would love to get one.
The ramp was from Bunnings hardware store. Thanks for watching.

You want to sort that steering out. Too much play in the rudder. Shouldn't have to work the wheel that much.
All new steering when I was at Bowhill worked great.
