I watch that every month, I think it’s been on since last January, and watching these guys with these, in some cases, totally ridiculous setups, dancing around a 10” target is pretty humorous. There was a guy with a Mosin Nagant, of all things, who took it in September I think. Didn’t phase me in the least. I had a carbine model (dated 1936 with a hammer and sickle), I tapped and scoped it (3x9x40 Bushnell) and with Russian ammo (circa 1950’s) was hitting a gong out to 600 fairly easy. I could stretch it a bit more with Sellier and Bellot ammo. Don’t get me wrong, I’m no sniper, but I’ve played with my stock .308 and .270 out to 900 and done just as bad, and they didn’t cost me thousands of dollars (I might have $1500, at the most, in both guns together) 😂. I just thought it would be hilarious to see a bunch of guys with air rifles whip their a$$es, especially with the first time hits you guys make. I think 10 shots would be breeze for you guys. 😅😂🤣😆
Going Athlon....love it!!!! I am an Athlon fan, Love my Cronus!! Eye box is super tight but that is only downside but every Athlon I have used or looked thru punched well above its weight class.

I was just looking at the Athalon in 40x vrs the 60x. 😳 $300 less. I’ve got a Hawk on my Gauntlet and an Athalon on my Avenger. I might just stick with that for my next one. Sorry you’re sick. Hope you feel better soon. I’ve been fighting something since November, turned into bronchitis in December, still lingering 🙄 🤪. Always look forward to you and Norm sniping stuff 😁👍

Great overview video of your dope ass gear! I might have to follow suit with one of my own! My rookie year is over now so it's legal for me to give advice now, right? Haha, One thing I'd suggest for PRS/NRL22 style shooting is to not wear that chest rig while actually shooting your stage, as cool as it is. It will impede your movement especially if you have to build a modified prone position with your knees close to your chest. See you at NAC again, buddy! Hope we can catch dinner again.
Hey bud thanks. Yeah go ahead and sling some “warrented advice”. See what i did there? Lol. You are right the chest rig isnt for rapid competition in weird positions. But you beat me at prs last year so i think so you know that for sure. But for hunting it is perfect. I love it. So practical and comfortable See you at NAC man!

But dude, what I want that you have more than anything else is that sick tripod and the Armageddon Gear tripod organizer dealie. A tripod setup is one thing I am currently missing. I have certainly gone down the NRL22 rabbit hole in a year. I have some new tricks up my sleeve for NAC. I'll be happy to see any of my teammates at or near the top of that leaderboard though!
