Welcome aboard the newly released LIRR Budd M3 EMU DLC for TSW 2020. Join me as I run the 3rd career scenario (Hicksville Handler), originating out of Vanderbilt Yard out of service to Jamaica, then in service to Hicksville. Along the way, I talk about the train itself, how it handles and sounds, and what I think could be improved upon. Enjoy the ride =)

When I was little, I was extremely fascinated with these trains. Very often the engineers would let me go to the cabin and honk the horn of the train. I also heard that Long Island Rail Road is rebuilding 80 to 100 of its M3’s to put back into service.
what they really need is the double deckers and freight trains and then add every other branch line to the game
they need the DM30AC, M9, and maybe NYAR
I'd kill for the DM/DE30AC's and bilevels!

The one question I have is is there a way you can stop the Destiination boards so that the passengers know where the train is going
But other than that based on the videos I’ve seen I do think the modeling of it is quite realistic so I’m with you on that
Lol it said service to Port Jefferson but that’s impossible to do with the M3 because it is an electric train.

There having licensing problems with nyar & they have trouble with getting sound reference

I will agree the horn sounds a little off but in real life the M3 and M7 have the same horn

Weird on the ps4 version the alert sounds never go off at all

The sounds are a little off like for example when you close the doors it's sounds like the m7. The doors close super slow little things like that.
Yea, all minor things in my opinion. The train performs spectacularly.
when does it sound like an M7? All I heard was the little ringing bells, just like the real ones minus the recycling 5 times cause door lights
Fan Railer, when you get the M3 do you need to update the game or something? I got it an hour ago for my XBOX and it still does not appear in my inventory or anything.
I've heard that they are either experiencing upload issues for console, or the DLC hasn't actually initiated download for console yet. Just hang tight, I'm sure they'll sort it out.
