Some basic strategies I've adopted using Frags - (In PS) When attacking the platform from directly above and you want to use frags to get some juicy AOE, use underhand lob instead of the forward throw. The lob is less bouncy and is more liable to stay in the platform. IF you're a light with dash or cloak, one thing I like to do is go on platform, drop whatever grenades I'm carrying with lobs, then run away using my abilities. This will put enemies in a panic and also probably do some damage. - If you're being chased, leaving grenades behind you in stairwells and doorways is an easy way to get kills. - I love running frags with melee weapons because they are a way to support the team when engaging on Monaco rooftops and other wide open areas where it would be suicide to rush the enemy over a distance. -Speaking of Monaco, its slanted rooftops are great for frag plays. Instead of priming your frag at the point of the roof, leaving you exposed, I find my enemy's position, then retreat behind the roof slope to throw my frag. Yeah you're throwing blind but it's a good way to get someone suppressing you with an FCAR or AKM to scatter even if you don't kill them outright. - Be careful using frags around ziplines! I've often commited the blunder of opening an assault on a suspended structure with frags only to accidentally blow up my only entry point with my frag! They are great if the defenders have already gotten rid of the ziplines but if you see an opportunity to get on the structure I'd take it.
I love one combo with glitch genades when a team sits behind a heavy with shelds, it goes glitch -> frag -> glitch -> frag. Usually gets them all killed. Can also be thrown in a window to a cashout room
Video's like this justify me trying a new playstyle, as it's REALLY hard to let go of my defensive kit, like I use goo grenades for everything. All my grenade habits come from halo, and that doesnt work on the finals at all.
Awesome list and I'll be using some of these next time I'm on. If I may tho, a bonus tip would be to use "directional equipping". It allows you to select the frag grenade with one button and without and visual obstruction like when you use the default option
@@dodonpa-1it wouldn't because I'd be selecting with my left thumb while keeping my right thumb on the stick at all times. Exactly as default but with DE you only hit it once instead of holding the button to select the gadget
The reticle info also works with flash grenades i always throw the flash above so it explodes mid air instead of it getting destroyed by some aps on the platform in powershift

Good stuff! I'll pin this up so it gets more attention 🤟
yes part 2 please!! this was so informative i didn't know know the tip about the fireworks marker but the devs really thought of everything.
No lie, I just tried the gas mine + underhand grenade for the first time, instantly killed a light. Keep em coming!
A regular grenade by itself can already insta lights as far as Ik but good job
@@DJR4TL3Y used to do 140 dmg but embark literally overhauled all explodos yesterday so idk about rn
@@learnshredguitar oh damn my bad, I’ve always thought it did 150
@@learnshredguitar I also haven’t played in a min too so they must’ve updated something at some point
I appreciate the very clean, fluid speaking. well done!
Thank you!
That reticle with the airburst indicator. That is some next level design, it should be in every game. Even games without grenades
Love the video. Just getting into the finals with s3 and glad to find a creator making cool tip videos.
That dash tip is a game changer. Great tips man!
I appreciate the tips being free! I don’t have 23 more dollars

I'm somewhat new to The Finals and really appreciate this kind of content!
I loved this video, gonna watch all the other ones now!
Heck yea! Love your content man 🤟

Ive tried directional equipping and its 100% better objectively, but for some reason the wheel just feels more natural to me 😅
i haven’t tried it but wouldn’t that take your finger off the stick, messing up your aim?

you earned a sub :)
Pretty sure the frag has the most similar timing to the mgl
just another theory video without any real game demos. time to unsub I guess :/
