She goes to bed at 10am. Is that not meant to be 10pm. Not sure if the subtitles are wrong or the translation somewhere. 9 years old going to college & drinking coffee. I'm just confused at this point but for listening the whole dialogue is helpful I guess

Thank you. "Collège" in french means junior high school and high school is "lycée ". But 9 years old is still quite young, that's true 😁
Just like in Spanish “colegio” typically refers to school in general, not university.
