Phurbu T. Namgyal was born in India. He moved to America in 1996 and has been living in Minnesota since then. He has more than eight Tibetan Pop albums to his credit. His music is loved by Tibetans everywhere including Tibetans in Tibet.

We were on a 4x4 travelling in the Tibetan area years ago. The travel guide/ driver is a nice young Tibetan ... and all he played during the eight days trip was the albums from PTN. When I needed something to cheer myself up, his songs are the sanctuary. Thank you.
