Bangkok to Koh Phi Phi Flight to Krabi and Boat to the Island 🇹🇭 Thailand

- We traveled from Bangkok to Koh Phi Phi. We took a flight with VietJet for 1200 THB per person from Bangkok to Krabi and after that took a minibus and boat to Phi Phi Island.
When you arrive at the Airport, it is easy to get a ticket towards Koh phi phi, there are always people selling them on arrival.
You can travel from Phuket and Krabi to Koh Phi. From Phuket the ferry takes 3 hours, from Krabi it is 2 hours.

Thailand is the best place to visit we have good infrastructure high speed net everywhere and person who working in tourists business can speak good English too.

There are some interesting places on the mainland Krabi like Wat Tham Suea, Railay Beach, Phra Nang Beach, Khao Ngon Nak Viewpoint, The Emerald Pool, Klong Thom Hot Springs.

The quality of the ferry has improved a lot since my visit to Phi Phi in Nov 2000.

Good choice with VietJet. We’ve flown with them on quite a few short haul flights throughout SE Asia and they’ve always seemed to have their act together.
Lucky you! The last time we booked from VietJet, we could not find our flight number on board. Worst part is, noone can explain to us why the flight number does not exist whereas we got our confirmed tickets from the agency before. We had been tossed around between Vietnamese Airlines and Vietjet. I've got the worst experienced. :(

I have always took the ferry from phuket to ko phi phi. but when I was staying at the holiday inn on ko phi phi, I realized that there is another ferry that will dock at the north eastern corner of the island as opposed to the default landing at the middle section of the island. I was hoping your video would show the former. but I guess I'll have to do more research to see where the former took off from....
You get a verry good deal at the airport. Computer says 652 THB with ferry. Nooit gehoord van Greenwoodtravel? Nederlandse organisatie. Zij verkopen full packages voor deze soort trips. Ik heb er goede ervaringen. Zij hadden een office in Bobao tower

Krabi is a town and province. Its about a 1 hour flight.

What made you go via the krabi route and not the phuket route? Can't believe you were not more organised - I would have to know in advance how to get there
He mentioned the reason upfront "Due to the covid situation it was unclear what time what ferries were going, so we decided to just go to the travel agencies that you can find in the arrival hall. Since covid started the ferries have been very irregular". Personally, having been to Phi Phi via the Phuket route previously, I agree with his choice of flying to Krabi instead.
