  • www.truthforlife.org || By: Alistair Begg - (Ruth 1:1) Loss, grief and loneliness can change a person. No one knew this better than Naomi. After moving to a foreign country with her family to escape a famine, she lost her husband and two sons. A pleasant woman with a full life had left Bethlehem. Now she returns as an empty, grieving widow. Even her friends and neighbors don’t recognize her. But she is not forgotten or without hope. God’s plan is just starting to unfold.

I love Alistair Begg and his sermons. So edifying, encouraging, inspiring, all because of the faithful adherence to God's word. I'm so thankful for these recordings! My women's bible study just started going through the book of Ruth, and the day we started, this series popped up on TH-cam. Perfect timing. I sent a link to all the women in the group, and I think others besides me are listening to these talks as a wonderful supplement to the reading, study, questions, and discussions we are having every week. What a blessing!
