1st game with Cards: 10 Catches 217 yards 2 tds
1st game with Ravens: 7 catches 112 yards
    1st game with 49ers: 13 catches 208 yards 1 td

FlemLo thanks for giving Q some love! He and Adrian Wilson are two of my favorite all time Cards players, both top 5 easily. Boldin brought leadership, humbleness and toughness to a skill position that isn't usually known for any of those traits. You mentioned Q getting his jaw broken, but the fact he took NO MEDs and then rebroke it when his kid jumped up into arms straight into his jaw is unreal. He still played that week. Dude was such a baller, great vid FlemLo, thanks!

Great video, thanks for putting it together. I remember after 2002 season, feels like yesterday, when the Cards lost their top 3 best wr's in Sanders, Boston, and speedster MarTay Jenkins. Was thinking what in the heck are we going to do at receiver, then ffwd to that week 1 Detroit game and Boldin cleared up any doubt. It is too bad Bryant Johnson never panned out, but it really worked out that the Cards dumped their wr group that offseason or probably would have remained content with just drafting Johnson and skipping Q in the 2nd round. Also, in hindsight between the wr dump and Johnson not looking like a #1, even with a fair rookie year in yards, but pulled the trigger on on Fitz as well. To this day wr's are my favourite draft picks because the excitement that came from the Cards picks starting with Boston in 99. Good video on him btw. That was an unfortunate decline, but also a contributor to what helped create the Boldin and Fitz tandem for so many years I will forever cherish as a Cards fan.

Great vid. He is an amazing person. I teach at a neighboring high school and a former colleague taught Q in high school and always said he was an excellent student and always kind and respectful. Since retiring he hosts a Learn to Read camp in Pahokee every summer and the beautiful new stadium at Pahokee high is named after him because he donated $4 million to build it. He does not get the credit he deserves for his on field accomplishments but those pale in comparison to the man he is off the field. A truly walk the walk great human being.
Keep up the great work Flem, your vids are well researched and high quality. Best NFL bio channel on TH-cam.

FAV player of all time (I'm from AZ). Q has the MOST receptions in history for a ROOKIE. Toughest receiver of all time, a straight dawg, STRONG hands. 82 TD's, 1076 receptions, a CHAMPION. Bonafide HOF. I don't think he'll get the recognition early, but he'd better get in there. It's cool how life comes full circle, I moved to Detroit, had the pleasure of meeting him when he played w/the Lions (irony where he played his 1st game)
