Love this song...one of my favorites to play at home. I wanted to lead the church in worship with this song, but the worship leader (quite rightly) said the lyrics were too redundant and not suitable for use in the service. I get it...the lyric may be a bit weak, but I personally love this song. The build and dynamics are spot on...and the song NEVER fails to move me. Samuel -- thank you!
This has been one of my favorite songs since i first heard it back in like '96 or '97... I recieved it as a free cd for purchasing some other books and music at a Christian book store... I cant ever get tired of this song and still brings me to tears at times...
Great sound! I'm not into the modern "Jesus is my boyfriend" type lyrics though. Very popular lyrics these days, but not scriptural. Emotionally stirring, sure. Anyway, I appreciate the excellence of this band. Great music.
