I juked a Pyramid Head by hiding behind barrels on Azarov's and was able to run to the Hatch. And I will often slink behind a tree if working on a gen that's almost done and the Killer gets close so I can go back to it. Most times I'm looping the Killer though, but crouching has its place. I have seen players crouch across the outer wall while using Kindred or two crouching near a tree 5 miles from the Killer. Of course they don't actually do gens(I did 4/5 alone) and they can't loop, down within 5 seconds.

@@George-hz3qq Most survivors I play at red ranks seem to care and sweat REAL hard to get that escape. Are Killers not allowed to try to level up? Blame the design of the game which practically requires the Killer to get 4 kills in order to pip consistently at high ranks.

I dunno some people like to sweat for the 4k. For me it gets boring very quickly, I hate doing this when going for the any newly added Adept achievement.

I'm a way better killer than I am survivor and 4k 70% of the time but I do one tiny coincidental tunnel in a whole game while they use DS, unbreakable, and a number of the other 15 OP perks and addons and a key and all escape and I'm a "trash killer" yet there's only like 3 things a killer can do, mori (which got nerfed) tunnel, or camp. Even if you run the best perks and best addons them bringing a key will 90% of the time give them a win. Yet they still need killer not survivor

I used to main survivor and was scared of playing killer because of how hard everyone said it was, how stressful playing killer was. Then I actually played it and got from rank 20 to 1 and stayed there with no problems whatsoever. Meta killers with good perks beat everything survivors have minus a coordinated 4 man swf and that's a fact that the statistics bear out.

@@tapenguinHD The problem with enabling bans for incredibly shitty gameplay behavior means that they could have the definition of "tunneling" be incredibly ambiguous and ban people they don't like/ban people who were technically tunneling but weren't using it as their go-to. It also opens the floodgates to for anything being a bannable offense.

This billy's playstyle matches about 90% of the killers i face on a daily basis at read ranks. They deserve all the bags. Like, I dont care if its 'strategic' to play in such a way, it's goddamn annoying to have to wait a half an hour for a match just to be camped until either I hit stage 2, finally get rescued and then tunneled; or die on my first hook because the killer just refuses to check gens and then wonders how they got """"gen rushed"""". This is why, as much as I agree that DS is OP, I insist on using it regardless. If killers didnt play so cancerously, perks like BT and DS neednt exist. The unfortunate part is that some killers just don't care that theyre ruining your fun by playing like an absolute shithead. But then turn around and wonder why they get TBagged and clicky clicky flashlighted, demanding survivors respect them. And dont get me started with those that use the buzzwords 'survivor rulebook'. DS was more than op, it was easily abusable to a point that you can be unhooked, do a gen and then DS killer 59 seconds later. Cause killer could not do shit in that situation. BT is also easily abusable, bodyblocking a killer to allow the unhooker go and waste killer's time. Thats the other side of the coin for ya bud. Its not fun to be tunneled and/or camped as much as it was unfun to get 59 second DS or get bodyblocked by BT survivor while other survivor runs away.

What a coincidence. paused this video cause my match started and just ran a ghost face for 3 full gens and he made sure I went into struggle only to then tunnel me again directly off basement hook; the sad part is that I made it out of the basement without borrowed time and still ran for another minute (almost 2) these killers nowadays are hot garbage, why even queue up if you know you can't play that role...

Ranks have nothing to do with your tendency for a playstyle man. Learn to accept different people play differently. Just because every main steamer plays like go full chase mode doesnt mean thats the way to play this game.
I sometimes play as immersed claudette and it's very fun tbh lol. I don't hide all game, i do gens, buy i still play immersed with iron will, urban evasion, lithe and dance with me
@@drshepherd6567 being immersed is an unhelpful playstyle and it’s usually players who can’t loop killers that opt for it. Occupying the killer’s time is just as important as doing gens, and having one player who doesn’t get chased means that the players who do get chased go through hook states faster. Being immersed will let you rank up, but you’re not getting better at the game and you’re not doing your team any favors.
First match of the day just now and happened to go down near basement and died because the healthy david that came to rescue decided to hide behind me when the Ghostface came down

Some killers are really pathetic .. but these are the ones who call survivors " toxic entitled survivors" when they disconnect after getting tunneled.. and waited 5 min for a survivor lobby to have a 3 min match. İ wanna give them a kick on the face not gonna lie. İf a single kill is more important for you then having fun and letting people have fun you're just disgusting. İ guess there are only a few people like me in the community who have emphaty for both sides.
The problem is that the majority of gamers don't have the maturity to respect other people, far too many people take pleasure in "trolling" and "griefing" for example. But a large portion of players aren't trying to troll as such, they just don't realise they aren't playing a single player game and that there are other players involved just wanting to have fun, the very purpose of playing a video game... So they want games to play out EXACTLY as they want and then throw a tantrum when suddenly the other players don't want to play with them anymore because all the fun got sucked out of the game by a toxic player. If you don't give a s*** about other people having fun in games then you should just stick to singleplayer games. Multiplayer gaming really has gone to crap over the past few years. COD was famous for it's toxic lobbies... Now that's just part of EVERY online game... Too many sad people with zero respect for others trying to get a kick out of making other people's "fun" a misery.
Do people unironically want DbD to die? I totally see that it has a lot of issues and the developers can derp out real hard from time to time, but imo it is one of the best games I own. It is almost 5 years old by now (?) and they pump out content every three months. There's graphic updates, there will be new animations etc. They really do everything, to keep the game up to date and make it feel fresh. It would be devastating, if the game would die and we wouldn't play it anymore. The memories and stories all of us can tell... at this point it seriously is nostalgic. I would honestly be totally fine with playing it another 5 years. Hell even more than that. I mean looking at WoW and LoL, those games were around quite some time by now. Maybe DbD steps on that pedestal too.
He chased you around 1:30 min, doing a gen takes 1:20 min. Imagine a game with 3 or 2 survivors being that good. Quite balanced if u ask me. Survs dont even have to play good, just hold M1 and drop some pallet, no loop needed
I have an idea to buff aftercare. What if the person is rescued or healed you become linked to each other and both players get any aura related perks from the person who has aftercare. To put simple if I have aftercare and other perks like detectives hunch the other player gets that affect too if we're linked. Maybe the perk can't work towards any killer related auras so it's more balanced but I think this could work for a change to the perk.
@@alextorres5467 Maybe they could make it were certain perks would simply work on the user of aftercare. So like leader would give other people it but when the person who you got it from got hooked it would disable. Or maybe just a long timer then that so it's more balanced. The issue with this perk idea would be the devs wanted to do this. Because it's basically saying, I can have any perks on. Which is false because it only works with a handful of perks and can be easily disabled. But the other sharing aura perks would probably work better. To be honest I kidna forgot what aftercare does, I just remember making this comment because Zu used it and you commented on it.
Problem with this game has always been, that generally tunneling will win games. I've probably got 1k hours but haven't played in years now- state of the game got worse as time went on.

It's become a crutch for them because they realise how unfair it is to the remaining survivors to try to come back from. They've relied on this scummy tactic for so long that they genuinely believe, "face camping and slugging is necessary to win, tHiS gAmE iS sO sUrViVoR sIdeD!", when they say it. No. Consistently a R1 killer here (not because I'm a God but because the ranking is BS and most red rank survivors are potatoes) and I NEVER resort to playing such boring, scummy, small PP tactics unless a survivor is trying to BM me. Not only do I feel embarrassed and downright pathetic for playing that way, but it's also boring ASF - for both myself and the survivors. Relying on these sorts of tactics to get wins and then getting mad when it doesn't work for you... Well it's just laughable.
There aren't much games similar to DbD but if there were i feel like DbD would be the worst out of them all. We're just stuck in the shitty game that has the game genre that we like.

Not really, it's in the usual range of the latency hits. 0.5s delay on a hit like this is a pretty common occurrence.

What a coincidence. paused this video cause my match started and just ran a ghost face for 3 full gens and he made sure I went into struggle only to then tunnel me again directly off basement hook; the sad part is that I made it out of the basement without borrowed time and still ran for another minute (almost 2) these killers nowadays are hot garbage, why even queue up if you know you can't play that role...

I sometimes play as immersed claudette and it's very fun tbh lol. I don't hide all game, i do gens, buy i still play immersed with iron will, urban evasion, lithe and dance with me

@@drshepherd6567 being immersed is an unhelpful playstyle and it’s usually players who can’t loop killers that opt for it. Occupying the killer’s time is just as important as doing gens, and having one player who doesn’t get chased means that the players who do get chased go through hook states faster. Being immersed will let you rank up, but you’re not getting better at the game and you’re not doing your team any favors.

@@alextorres5467 if you're being tunneled, stay on hook as long as possible and if unhooked try to last as long as possible in chase. If the tunnel is ineffective then at least other survs can get out

Some killers are really pathetic .. but these are the ones who call survivors " toxic entitled survivors" when they disconnect after getting tunneled.. and waited 5 min for a survivor lobby to have a 3 min match.

The problem is that the majority of gamers don't have the maturity to respect other people, far too many people take pleasure in "trolling" and "griefing" for example. But a large portion of players aren't trying to troll as such, they just don't realise they aren't playing a single player game and that there are other players involved just wanting to have fun, the very purpose of playing a video game... So they want games to play out EXACTLY as they want and then throw a tantrum when suddenly the other players don't want to play with them anymore because all the fun got sucked out of the game by a toxic player. If you don't give a s*** about other people having fun in games then you should just stick to singleplayer games. Multiplayer gaming really has gone to crap over the past few years. COD was famous for it's toxic lobbies... Now that's just part of EVERY online game... Too many sad people with zero respect for others trying to get a kick out of making other people's "fun" a misery.

I totally see that it has a lot of issues and the developers can derp out real hard from time to time, but imo it is one of the best games I own.
It is almost 5 years old by now (?) and they pump out content every three months. There's graphic updates, there will be new animations etc. They really do everything, to keep the game up to date and make it feel fresh. It would be devastating, if the game would die and we wouldn't play it anymore. The memories and stories all of us can tell... at this point it seriously is nostalgic. I would honestly be totally fine with playing it another 5 years. Hell even more than that.
I mean looking at WoW and LoL, those games were around quite some time by now. Maybe DbD steps on that pedestal too.
A lot of the feedback I’m seeing is that dedicated servers feel so unbearably bad to play on that people legit quit for that reason
He chased you around 1:30 min, doing a gen takes 1:20 min. Imagine a game with 3 or 2 survivors being that good. Quite balanced if u ask me. Survs dont even have to play good, just hold M1 and drop some pallet, no loop needed

I have an idea to buff aftercare. What if the person is rescued or healed you become linked to each other and both players get any aura related perks from the person who has aftercare. To put simple if I have aftercare and other perks like detectives hunch the other player gets that affect too if we're linked. Maybe the perk can't work towards any killer related auras so it's more balanced but I think this could work for a change to the perk.

@@alextorres5467 Maybe they could make it were certain perks would simply work on the user of aftercare. So like leader would give other people it but when the person who you got it from got hooked it would disable. Or maybe just a long timer then that so it's more balanced. The issue with this perk idea would be the devs wanted to do this. Because it's basically saying, I can have any perks on. Which is false because it only works with a handful of perks and can be easily disabled. But the other sharing aura perks would probably work better. To be honest I kidna forgot what aftercare does, I just remember making this comment because Zu used it and you commented on it.

Problem with this game has always been, that generally tunneling will win games. I've probably got 1k hours but haven't played in years now- state of the game got worse as time went on.

... because he's trash. Too many red rank killers relying on this "tactic" to tunnel out the first survivor as quick as possible. It's become a crutch for them because they realise how unfair it is to the remaining survivors to try to come back from. They've relied on this scummy tactic for so long that they genuinely believe, "face camping and slugging is necessary to win, tHiS gAmE iS sO sUrViVoR sIdeD!", when they say it. No. Consistently a R1 killer here (not because I'm a God but because the ranking is BS and most red rank survivors are potatoes) and I NEVER resort to playing such boring, scummy, small PP tactics unless a survivor is trying to BM me. Not only do I feel embarrassed and downright pathetic for playing that way, but it's also boring ASF - for both myself and the survivors. Relying on these sorts of tactics to get wins and then getting mad when it doesn't work for you... Well it's just laughable.
Killers who play that way have either given or are just bad.

There aren't much games similar to DbD but if there were i feel like DbD would be the worst out of them all. We're just stuck in the shitty game that has the game genre that we like.
