The issue with the Whatnot packs is that Marvel isn't moving unwanted product; Marvel is creating the unwanted product to move with the couple of highly desired copies.
I do like the version of the mystery pack where the variant inside is unknown like the Black Book type. I bought so many of those because I liked the underlying artwork for the issue I was buying.
Response to discussion at 32 minutes on incrementing by $1 - Don't think that it actually went to a dollar a click, it was just not updating to the penny level, it would update at the dollar level (i.e. clicks were coming in so fast - 100+ per second - that they likely just have a mechanism that provides incremental updates as opposed to trying to display every single incremental click)
