@@thejondohhshowBasically, there are tons of mistakes in not just bryce's playing but honestly like half of deathcore drummers. Sometimes it's a trigger issue, but mostly it isn't. It really takes you out of the enjoyment when you notice everything that's off so clearly. I won't name names, cause I'm not about that drama game, but there's even a pretty long list of drummers for well established bands who don't just make some mistakes, but every song, or almost every section of every song. The reason why it sucks isn't just this tho, it's also that I know all of this but at the same time I love these dudes to death, Shadow is my favorite band of all time, and bryce is a 10/10 guy and amazing at writing cool drum parts, especially the cymbal work (check out farewell playthrough) but when it comes to the feet he strugles a fair bit live, I've seen him in person and a ton of videos. So many other bands that are in my top 20 I heard live, and it was not great. Only a few I've seen made nearly no mistakes, namely Austin from Lorna, George Kolias from Nile, and Ash from revocation. I've been to maybe 50 death/deathcore concerts, and 3 were flawless, maybe 20 were overall good with a few mistakes, another 10-20 were making a decent number of mistakes, and the rest were having problems the entire set. Thing is nobody wants to make this comment because nobody wants to be mean to their idols, but the drummers in the crowd know. This really isn't meant to be a mean comment, I respect these guys and love them to death, it's just for me I feel like I'm being gaslighted sometimes lol.
@KytexEdits I guess I'm lucky. I like music raw and emotional. Don't give 2 shits about technical skill or doing it "right". Sounds like this is a curse for you man......hopefully you can still enjoy shows in the future🤘
@@thejondohhshowThe best analogy I can come up with is someone singing really out of tune and it catching you off guard. But yeah I made it sound like a deal breaker or something, it's really not. I still have a good time every time, especially if there are bass drops, then I'm happy :) I love going to metal shows, that'll never change.
When 75% of the crowd are old hardcore dudes, what did you expect for the young deathcore band? They were great, and those who appreciate them had a blast!
@Becky_Honkington I am also not wrong, why comment on stuff you don’t like? Skip on past and comment on the stuff you do like. A rising tide lifts all boats. If heavy music is thriving, it will help the bands you do enjoy too.
They had some brutal breakdowns. There drummer is next level. 🤘☠️💀🧟♂️🕸️🦇🧙♂️🧛🏻♂️⚰️🤘
I have seen them a bunch in the last year. They have really grown on me. Being local is cool too!

Great video, thank you! Do you remember what he was saying right before this video starts?
Thanks for watching! I believe he said they are recording or have recorded a new album but aren’t playing any of the songs live yet.
@@thejondohhshow Awesome, thanks!
@TessKay Sounds like new music and new tour are in the Imminent future?
@thejondohhshow they'll be touring Europe this summer, so I'm hoping for some new music by then! Then hopefully a US tour after that 🤞
@TessKay We will see!
last time i saw Ben it was a skinny dude with long hair now we have Beans from Even Stevens
As long as his voice still sounds like this, I don’t care what look he is going for🤘
Duznt look like Ben Duerr…..
Am impostor who also has amazing vocals 🤷
Pretty sure it’s Ben, he’s just constantly changing his look lmao
@@Conundrums._ It's definitely him....lol
Sometimes I wish I wasn't a drummer, it's so hard not to hear everything.
Meaning?

Absolutely dogshit crowd. The band was amazing tho. Ben is always changing his look, hardly recognize him!

yea i was there was more people moshing with me, Shadow of intent is such a good band its disappointing more people dont dance

@@thejondohhshow the guys who would mosh harder for a Henry Rollins spoken word poetry show, than for a metal band 😂
Aging is a b*tch.....
Shit sounds like it was made from a computer. Metal is dying with this overproduced shit
Thanks for the positive comment! Love this community 🤦
@@thejondohhshow I'm not wrong. Guitars don't even sound like guitars anymore and drums......we'll might as well as use a electronic drum kit

@@Becky_Honkington This is a live recording from a mobile phone, of course its going to sound like shit compared to the studio release.
