Video-Assisted intubation looks easier than direct laryngoscopy, but it requires a different skills- set to perform efficiently. The video describes the four-step method of using a video assisted intubation device. Specifically the Glidescope.

In school we never practiced glidescope but in the hospitals the docs want me to try it next time. Thanks for the video!
You definitely gave me the realization of what I have been doing wrong.
As an RT out of the hospital for two decades, your videos are just what the RT gods Rx’d!! Thanks sooo much!!

Excellent presentation and you make it fun! Thanks Jimmy.
You make intubation look classy thank you
Haha!
Great explanation!
Sitting here watching this video about to check of on intubation in the OR😅
Awesome! Those OR intubations are usually pretty quick and easy😁
Great video and amazing instruction! 👏
Great video! New ICU NP here, definitely having trouble with tube position. I will definitely try your technique to see if it helps me.
Very finesse Jimmy👌🏼
Thanks for this video this week we are actually will learn proper intubation. I picked up good techniques to make it easy for me.
Awesome video! Very helpful
Great information and technique. 👍
Amaaaaaaaazing, thumb up.
Great video
good video.
Thanks for another great video! I wonder is GlideScope will ever have a video baton small enough for newborns?
I thought they did... maybe I'm wrong
@@rtclinic We stock the Pediatric disposable batons. When we upgraded our GlideScope a couple of years ago, the rep said they are working on it. Maybe they finally did it!?
@@tgaskill😮Whoa we
Excellent! Igel should be considered in all CPR, not direct laryngoscopy of any kind
"Should be considered" sounds like ACLS training.
5* video, what a Good Guy I wanted to know if you give budesonide or seen it prescribed to Help with COvid19
Yes
Love you somuch miss
Question can we use number four blade over the fiber optic source rather than three at all times because three sometimes falls short
To go to the area and illuminate what's needed.
I was wondering if size 4 can be substituted at all times
A #4 blade will work for almost everyone except the petite
@@rtclinic
Number four it is
Was the code blue at 11:45 real?
Yes!
Ironic how there was a code during an intubation tutorial 😅
It's not "what is up" it's
what is going down into your trachea" :)
So true!! I need to start using that one.
Now can you make a video on how to use meditech. 🤢😤🤬
EMR's are a different story! They are usually harder than any clinical skill🤣😂
i think the blade was inserted too deep
It gave a good view.. but it may have been able to be withdrawn.
