- VIETNAM TRAVEL VLOG Day 1
This is my FIRST TIME in Vietnam! (Kim has been here before)
Join us on Day 1 of our 10 day adventure.
Today we:
Visited Linh Ung pagoda courtyard (Lady Buddha)
Lunch at Madam Lan
Manicure Pedicure Spa Day
Coffee at a Local Cafe
Fresh Seafood Dinner
Sauna and Massage
If you're wondering why my hair looks so goofy... I just got a perm in Korea for the first time in my life the day before I few out to Vietnam haha!
We sold everything we owned on a whim to travel the world with our husky Nala.
Our temporary home base is Seoul, South Korea. Not everything has been smooth traveling Korea as foreigners (with a big dog) but overall the experience has been amazing!
Thanks for watching and make sure to Subscribe for more Vlogs!
thank Koreans for coming to Vietnam and supporting the locals here.
Thanks to the Vietnamese people for being so welcoming
The trees are painted white to repel the extreme heat and keep the temperature under control, plus the paint keeps away the bugs and insects laying eggs or eating up the wood.
Good info. That’s makes way more sense
My wife and I were in Vietnam for 10 days this past February. We ate and drank everywhere in Saigon, Da Nang, and Hoi An and we were fine. Kim just being overly protective of you. She is so cute and sweet. Ironically enough, the only place that I ever got food poisoning from was an Outbreak Steakhouse in Seoul, Korea.
Haha Kim got food poisoning a couple times in Da Nang so she’s overly cautious. I’m the type to eat things off the floor with no problem but because i had 3 people to take care of this trip I decided to play it safe. Next time I’m eating EVERYTHING!!
I enjoyed watching your videos. Kim is pretty with a nice voice. You’re one lucky guy! I’m half Chinese and half Vietnamese. My husband is 100% Korean. We are going to visit Seoul and Busan this coming June. Looking forward to seeing Day 2 vid.
Kim is the best I’m super lucky! Have fun in Korea!!
Bro for the most part everything you see is pretty good, but if it looks way too sketchy then don’t touch. For the most part all the food and drinks are good. just have some Pepto-Bismol nothing serious.
Good advice gotta have pepto bismo on the ready. I got more of an iron stomach than Kim but she’s looking out for me. I did get a scratchy throat from the ice though
cảm ơn người Hàn Quốc đã đến Việt Nam ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you!
Love Da Nang, such a nice, friendly and vibrant city. Great Vlog guys.🤩
Thanks! We had so much fun. Da Nang is going to have to be a regular visit for us
Rau mung is called morning glory in English and cant go wrong with it. Those were mantis shrimps btw.
Oh that’s so cool! Learned 2 new things today thanks!
Yeah David, why no marry? lol!😂. Seriously, I dig those groovy pants!
😭😭😭 those pants are great though
The pagoda, though newly built, is indeed a sacred place to locals. It just happened that tourists like it.
The whole area is really beautiful. We saw lots of locals praying in the temples and lighting incense
Market management or local government should ban motorcycle driving inside chợ Cồn market for the safety of customers.
Vietnam is still developing but this progress is awesome. There’s some streets in Hoi An that are now blocked from traffic and it makes a huge difference
welcome you come to Đà Nẵng ❤
Thank you! It’s been so much fun!
David’s Vietnamese pronunciation is pretty good.
😂😂 no I know it’s terrible. I’ll practice for next time.
Tuyệt vời 👍
Thanks!
영어 듣기하려고 영상 보고 있는데 종종 나오는 한국어가 정감가네요. ㅎㅎ 교포이신거 같은데 한국어 발음이 좋네요. 안전하고 즐거운 여행 하세요. I'm watching your video to improve english listening skill. I can sometime hear your korean. It's really good. I think you must be korean american, right? You have a good korean pronunciation. I wish you could have a safe and good travel.
Yay thank you! My mom and aunt from Korea were with us so I was trying to talk to the camera in English, talk to them in Korean, and trying to learn Vietnamese at the same time 😂. I tried to edit out all the Korean talking but there was too much to get it all out
25:50 "vú sữa" with a v, the red fruit is wax apple, the bumpy green fruit is cherimoya. It's not that mangoes in VN are hard and crunchy, you can find fully ripened yellow/orangy ones as well as green ones which are used in salads and rolls. 48:30 mantis shrimp.
Thanks for the info! We did have some delicious juicy soft mangos later in the trip too
Kim cute ❤❤❤
Kim very cute 👍🏼
Great video :)
Could you guys ever think of living there?
Thanks! Guess what. We’re actually moving to Da Nang in a couple of months :)
@@TravelWithNala Hehe very nice, I am watching the luxury apartment hunting video right now ^^
Was thinking of moving there myself so it's fun and interesting to follow you guys
@@orangehaw cool! We’ll have a lot more Vietnam content coming out once we move. We’re super excited
@@TravelWithNala Sounds great!
I don't know if David is kidding. Poor Kim. David kept accusing of Kim making things up (90% of the time). I think Kim is correct on her facts. Keep up the good work.
Haha just kidding around
Thanks for your sharing video in Da Nang, but for me 1 day it’s not enough 😊😊😊😊 Fr Ohio us
Haha we ended up staying 10 days but even 10 days in not enough
👍💛
🙏🏼💙
Kim is correct and didn’t make it up regarding the lady Buddha
Thanks! Is Kim correct about not letting me eat the street food and ice? 😂
not fresh rice paper :) but they use some trick to make it wrapable without water.
Ohhhh interesting I need to look into it more
Nooo... Elephant pants, bad...😆
😂😂 I realized after there aren’t even elephants in Vietnam
@@TravelWithNalathere are elephants in Vietnam if you are not sarcastic. They are in Pleiku and Daklak which are beautiful places. You guys should also check out Ha Giang and Hoang Su Phi as well (August to early October), they are spectacular.
Bugs r eatable. Taste like peanut. 😊
Sea bugs are delicious 😋
you were eating mantis shrimp and garoupa hot pot
The mantis shrimp were so good but hard to eat
What hotel did you stay at in Danang
Altera suites. Later we went to the cecilia penthouse suite
Is she Vietnamese ?
Kim is Vietnamese born in America
Dude. You never wanna go to Vietnam with your gf or wife 😂😂😂
🤫I have no idea what you’re taking about 😂😂
His girlfriend looks Vietnamese anyway
street foods cheap and better
I did eat a ton of banh mi from the carts that was super cheap
Vietnam could be more enjoyable if the people didn’t throw garbage everywhere and sold food with hygiene.
There definitely is a lot of trash in places but for me the good outweighed the bad. Da nang has a long way to go but they’re developing quickly and I’m optimistic about their future
