The problem with snitches in 4.0 is that there is NVL. Tons of it. Someoe gets shot in the head and is able to recall every little detail that happened. Someone's life is threatened and to them they could care less because they know their characters are only perma'd when they themselves want it so. If it was a 'hardcore' server, meaning that dying several times truly means that your character is permanently dead, then you'll have people taking threats seriously and will weed out anyone going against the rules.

That is a good idea on paper, but when people die from flying out of cars from a local who spawns in and flies out the window that would also count as a death, how would they differ between meaningful deaths and deaths like that
@stoneontop Koil already had an idea for this back in 2.0 and was really detailed on the functions of it. Stuff like that was taken into consideration. The only thing that stopped him from actually creating the server was that a lot of streamers/rpers voiced their opinion basically saying "They don't being vincible."

A hardcore server would mean the most watched characters would all be dead in a few months. Maybe if you’re blatantly snitching on major gangs, after getting threats from them, it’s considered NVL
I can understand snitching on people, but snitching on mechanics and NPCs is just a bit much.

The amount of snitching is disgraceful, compared to 2.0 all the way to now there hasn't been this many snitches and its all people who do it just for fun like it's a fucking sport.
