Wanted to enquire if you got the residency permit to stay in Cote D'Ivoire as you waited for your interview or how did you do it? I see people saying you have to get a residency permit and change your address to have an interview in another country.

Well I believe the US website states you indeed can interview in another country as long as you have some sort of residence established in that country. I’ve seen other people do this, some where working or schooling in other countries and they got their interview like I did. Also not every country gives out interviews super quick, it depends on the queue.

So like I mentioned in the video, I was working in Abidjan at the time, so I do have a resident permit there.
