fact: gingers are very rare, they aren't very common to see, and they used blue for marinettes hair to make animation less harder.

They chose blue hair as Marinette's hair is black with blue highlights in the comic and they didn't change it because in the french version in Adrien's poem they said that Marinette's hair is black as night and in the German it says her hair is black as ebony or whatever in the English when it says her hair is dark as night they were implying it to be black not blue btw and sometimes her hair does look black with blue highlights like in the comic just depends on the lighting every version of the translation says or implys that it is black but the french version is correct the English, German and whatever dub may not have the poem word for word correct as they still need to make it rhyme but it is black. Guys, can we all agree to disagree, that the TV show Mari has blue hair, and the anime one, has the black hair, and stop saying that well canonically...well cannonically the animators like some said in the comments, changed it to blue, because it was too hard to do it black, so cannonically her hair is blue now. So cannonically all these videos with Mari in blue hair is correct. My opinion in a way.
