Vowed to stay out of Hobby Lobby as I certainly have enough and am getting rid of many items as we prepare to downsize. I’m 62 and recently learned you’re the same age as my son. Everything is so pretty. Simple and uncluttered. I replicated what you did with the pots by your front door. My planters are wooden, made by my husband so not exactly like yours. I layered 2 grapevine wreaths, faux leaves and 1 large faux pumpkin on each. I didn’t even realize it but I ended up getting the exact same leaves you used. Mine were from Hobby Lobby as were the pumpkins. It looks so fall like, even here in FL! Amy, thank you for the inspiration!

I enjoyed the wreath you made for your kitchen mantel. I think you've inspired me to want to make something like that. Also, I remember you said you thought your dresser in the entrance hall might too small. On video it looks fine to me. Very cute! But if you ever think that your dresser or buffet isn't long enough, try putting an extra dining room or kitchen chair next to it. You might find that it fills in the space nicely, plus you don't have to crowd the kitchen or diningroom with that extra chair that's nice to have for company. Thank you for the tour of your home.

I collect cutting boards as well. I get them on ebay from a man in France. They're worn and well used. I like to think of the families that used them through the years. You look amazing, by the way.
