Everything depends on how it works for you when you start the griddle up. Controlling that heat will be imperative! This is Version 1 of this griddle. They will improve on it with another version.

I wouldn’t steer you wrong on this one. It’s more pricey than the comp but the quality is there no doubt.

It’s held up well. No problems with it this far
I would be putting mine on a deck like yours. But I am concerned about grease getting on my redwood deck. Have you had any leaks on yours?
No leaks so far other than what has dropped off my spatulas.
@@TheBrewQ probably wouldn't hurt to put a mat under it then!
