Let me clear up the argument. Gouken and Akuma were brothers (Gouken being older) that were trained by Goutetsu. Akuma killed Goutetsu for not fully embracing the Satsui no Hado, he then took his prayer beads (The beads around his neck). Gouken broke off from Goutetsu and Akuma, not wanting to learn a martial art with intention to kill, and developed non-lethal versions of the techniques he learned. Gouken eventually opened his own dojo and had Dan as his first student, but after learning that Dan wanted to learn martial arts for revenge against the man who killed his father, Gouken refused to train him further. Some time passed and Gouken found Ryu as an orphaned baby and took him in as his own. Ken later joined the same dojo, which explains why Ryu and Ken play the same, Akuma, after travelling the land and fighting a whole lotta dudes, feels the Satsui no Hado within Ryu (I suppose he first felt that when Ryu gave Sagat his scar), which is why Akuma keeps meeting up with Ryu. There are the relations for you and some trivia to go along with it.

I dont get my info from wiki. If you re waych the movie again you see that they imply that he is his father as well as the comics and if you any of the games tie ryu's story line together. Thats how I found out that ryu and him are father and son and as well as everybody else that is related in SF.
yup once you know that reality is an illusion and that we are all made of energy and NOT solid you begin to realize that The Power Of Nothingness is The Power of an Atom which is all around us but at the same time not even there. crazy right?
well not quite. When i bought Super Street Fighter II for the Sega Genesis years ago, it said that Ken and Ryu's styles were the Shotokan on the games instruction manuals. maybe the names for the styles are different depending on the versions of the game.
I know but lol at the end. Shunn admitted he he wasnt his brother and it was all a trick so sattle could get the dark hudo. Ryu just said he was his brother before he died because he loved him like one.
Their were other factors, but SF3's cast was still factor pointed out on why not as many people picked it up. It was due to negative outcry that Ryu/Ken were put in at the last second (SF3:NG was suppossed to be a COMPLETELY new generation with no familiar characters). Originally, Sean could launch Hadoukens normally. Maybe if Capcom hadn't put the SF name on it, it may have gotten a warmer reception...

I was always puzzled by DBZs' storyline of always relying on Goku, but I went along with it, because it was one of those things that one grew-up with and well can't change the past. The creators could change route with a current series of this show.
Yusiley Sierra Indeed! I totally agree. Full metal alchemist was good in voice acting- even though it wasn't a show I watched religiously.
What?! You need that in your life!!!! It was probably the only place saiyans actually worked together....lol. Broly is the brother of Goku. Broly is the strongest saiyan. Honestly, I'm not exactly sure what made me watch DBZ lol. I guess intriguing characters. Yes. Vegeta, Goten, Trunk, and Future Trunks were obsolete. I think out of countless bad guys. Trunks and Vegeta only defeated like 2 bad guys. Mind you, you'd expect Future Trunks to actually be stronger, since in the future all there is nothing but enemies, but NOOOO. Lol.
@sultaa86
Yes Im sure, I checked in later on wikipedia. BTW the voice actor of Heihachi Mishima died at the beginning of this year.
dont forget FADC, and shoto roundhouse punish, first few frames of all ultra's are invinc, you can use the timing similiar to you would a parry.
@sultaa86
y right : / I wonder how this will affect Tekken. Tekken is my favourite game over years now.
They recast all of them in both languages anyway. For the longest time, Nishimura Tomomichi was both Bison/Vega and Akuma/Gouki.
Google says that akuma is not goukens brother. They says that akuma is actually ryu's future from. I don't belive it.
actually it said Akuma is ryu from an alternate timeline in the future,Pay attention.
*THIS VOICE ACTING*......*THERE'S NO MISTAKEN IT*.....*THEY HAVE LAMED IT*.....
*YOU'VE SEALED OFF JP VOICE ACTING??? HOW DARE YOU!*
*RAGIIIIIIIIIIIING DEMOOOOOOOOON!*
You beat me to it. I was going to say the same. The voice acting in English is horrible. With so many great voice actors in the U.S. and Canada, one would expect the best for a cult classic video game like SF, but no the makers picked the worse for English translation, the very slim, crum within the very bottom of a sewer, the very place that even roaches don't dare venture to.
Draxis32 I think the English voices aren't bad but the lip syncing is off especially in this case.
Dont worry since sf4 did so well, hopefully well see them in champion edition, 4th extreme edition and finally to wrap up the 4 saga everyone we didnt put in will be in it edition
Ryu is Akuma's illegitimate child
i think it'll be interesting to see what akuma was like before the satui no hado took over..
Gouki was born with the syndrom of Arlequin
I wonder how many puppies died when Akuma smiled at 0:23...
The Form of Gouki that I like is Oni Akuma ( Oni )
Oni is the form of Gouki who has gained The True Power of Satsui No Hado during his training and looks scary, very strong, and out of control compared to Akuma and Shin Akuma who were his previous forms.
Gouken and Akuma are fighting over a cow. Says the caption.
akainu vs whitebeard
Akuma
notice that after the super "Ultra" Raging Demon, there is no "KO", his opponent is dead lol...
So if Gouken is with Ryu in SFV, that means he claimed the cub. Gouki lost.
Yeah.
This wasn't the ending I got in SF4! I got the ending where Akuma is in a forest and he shots a huge freaking hado into space and it goes off like a freaking NUKE! :o
Gouken is like..........Bruh that raging demon just tickles me.
K20civicsirturbo you're a moron
well not quite.
& Yun is playable in the GBA/PSP Port of SFA3.
lesson: dont fuck with the raging demon
Their were other factors, but SF3's cast was still factor pointed out on why not as many people picked it up. It was due to negative outcry that Ryu/Ken were put in at the last second (SF3:NG was suppossed to be a COMPLETELY new generation with no familiar characters). Originally, Sean could launch Hadoukens normally.
Maybe if Capcom hadn't put the SF name on it, it may have gotten a warmer reception...
Bruh really got mad because he couldn’t run a fade with ryu in his evil form…
