Georgia Tech went into Winston-Salem and earned a 30-16 win over the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. The Yellow Jackets defense held down the Deacs, tallying 8 sacks and 5 turnovers in the win. Yellow Jackets quarterback Haynes King threw for 222 yards and 2 touchdowns and rushed for 53 yards as well. Running back Jamal Haynes rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown to lead the way. Running back Justice Ellison led the Demon Deacons with 137 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to power Wake to the victory.

The fact wake forest was 3-0 and the stands looked like there was a losing high school football team playing is crazy! If the crowd showed up they could have easily won this game.
