Gaura Purnima is a Vaishnava festival that celebrates the birth of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (1486-1534),a great devotee often regarded as an avatar of Sri Krishna Himself in the mood of Radharani. He's the founding acharya who founded Gaudiya Vaishnavism. So the whole I observed the full day fasting for Appearance day of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and we celebrated the festival with Darshan, Abhishek, Kirtan, Dance & Fasting Parshadam.
