- "Right Here Waiting" is a song by American singer-songwriter Richard Marx. It was released in June 1989 as the second single from his second album.
The Shadows made an instrumental version for their 1990 Reflection album. This is a cover of the Shadows instrumental using my Fender Stratocaster custom 56nos fitted with Kinman Impersonator 54 V3 pickups on bridge position.
Alesis Quadraverb Q2 with charlie Hall's echoes from the past (EFTP) patch 0-36. (No Amp) Into Cubase SX 5.
Video made with 3x Sony SR12 camcorders and a Samsung S4 mobile phone for the headstock shots.
Edited with the cubase sound in Sony Vegas Pro 9.
The BT came from Ian McCutcheon's workout 10 CD available here :- shadowsworkout....

Seems like a great idea Phil . I'm still trying to get my head around all the info you kindly gave me on the setting up of the lap top and editing system so I can play straight into the computer . :) what with moving house ect I'm not fully focused ::))) YEP ! that's and excuse lol I'll get there eventually at the very young age of 67 lol going on 18 in my head :))) 😄 All the very best Alan ))

sorry- not one of my favorites. Not everything Hank recorded is my taste but your playing and sound are great as always. So it´s just my personal opinion to prefer the sung version. Anyway- an excellent cover.

I thought that was great.... phil, but still waiting for ''heartbeat'' to come out the camera on the guitar didn't look cool but the shot it gave of the neck was awesome, I still haven't figured out how to get the guitar, video and backing track on the computer all up and running yet. but keep up the good work is always enjoyable to listen to

WOW...as a fan of Hank it's hard for me not to love this rendition of yours. I love this song. And everything is so perfect. You have one of the best Hank's modern sound on YT. I guess in these serie of songs that Hank explored the most of the swell notes and you did a beautiful job with your pedal. Hi JP - Happened to be online when this came through ! - Thanks so much for the great comments. Looking back on The Shads later CD's and they tend to pick up on songs which were very popular at the time and this was released pretty soon after Mark's original. Always been one of those songs in your head. Lol
