everyone talks about Cpap machines. I have a Simply Go Oxygen Concentrator (which has its own batteries); however, I am looking for an emergency backup. In the car, we plug the machine into the cigarette lighter and that keeps the internal battery charged. I wonder if this power bank would do the same, and if so for how long?
RE CPAP MACHINE USE WITH POWER BANK: Newer cars do not have cigarette lighter outputs but have usb power outputs - can the car usb output charge this power bank? One reason I might want to have this power bank is for when there is a power failure from the electricity network - so my question is, how long do these power banks hold power (without use) after a full charge? In other words how often do I have to top the charge up to keep it ready for any power failure, so I can plug my CPAP machine into it ? I must admit I have never yet had the power fail while using my CPAP yet - that might be a horrible experience - possibly dangerous for older users of CPAP. Which leads me to the question, can a power bank automatically cut in if the 240v power fails?
Can you just plug into the 110V rather than getting the 12V adapter?
