BGYO is a Filipino boy group that began formation in 2018 by ABS-CBN Star Hunt Academy and debuted in 2021 under ABS-CBN's Star Magic. The members consists of Gelo, Akira, JL, Mikki, and Nate. The MV's story revolved around Philippine mythology, Haliya who is the goddess of the moon. Haliya built the Ace Elite Secret Service and recruited BGYO. Also, each member is a representation of five great Philippine National Heroes, possessing unique skills, all to combat Bakunawa, a great serpent. Bakunawa is Haliya's nemesis as the former devoured, Bulan (Haliya's brother, The Moon). You can see Haliya in the control room organizing the simulation to train BGYO against their upcoming mission to defeat Bakunawa. She's the baddest, a badass boss, fueled by her desire to take revenge against her nemesis.

Fun fact, yung serpent po sa sky inspired by Bakunawa, was also the inspiration of our reigning Ms. Universe 2021 Bea Gomez' National Costume - yun pong mukhang Shenron sa Dragon Ball. Haha. Marami rin pong historical inspiration sa MV, like ung pag drag nung sako ni Akira (na parang may pinatay don) from Spoliarium, yung tayo ni Nate (the illusionist) from Gregorio del Pilar (yung signature post. etc. In a way the MV helps that the fans review our history and own folklore, like ung kay Bakunawa at BB. Haliya. And also for the foreign fans to get interested na rin and curious about our culture.
