Why thank you. I approach handwriting as I do drawing - I find a style and imitate and learn and have fun with it. But you are right - it is a sadly dying art.😢
Love you on ALL platforms! Please keep the videos coming! (By the way, not only are you a versatile & grand artist, you also have such a relaxing voice.) ☕
Why thank you. You have really made my day! And I will be posting every Friday so never fear.😁 And thank you for saying my voice is soothing. I always fear I sound like a nervous hamster!
I'm filling up my spritzer and chopping my celery base as I type this! I love this...now Jim can't drink the old morning coffee in the afternnon because I will have nabbed it already for my art! Really cool Kelly!
So instructive. One moment is so fun : I live in France in Dijon and my parents in Beaune, so happy to read your description and to see your drawing of saint benigne!
Bonjour ! J'adore Beaune surtout l'hopital et Le Dernier Jugement. Et votre marché, c'est tres charmant. Et Dijon est un autre bon ville. Je vais y'aller en septembre. (J'espere. Stupid Covid.)
Great ideas! I enjoy using coffee in my projects! I haven't tried the cork yet so that is now on my list! Love your sound effects! I make those as well while working on my art! My sons love to tease me when they are around to hear me create! lol The romaine lettuce is impressive! It looks like roses! Another thing to try! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Susan. Do I make sound effects? Oh, the k-chew sounds. I stole that from "The Simpsons" back in the day! And now everything my studio smells like coffee. Not that bad a thing, really. Have a gorgeous weekend. (You are so lucky to have kids around to tease you. My son lives far away. Enjoy it!)😉
Hey Kelly! Wowsa, 2 films this week, LOVIN it! I always enjoy painting, dipping, splattering with coffee stain. Another great coffee "player" is Mix it up Marci on You Tube (some great ideas) I'll check out the veggie printer that you too had mentioned. I loved the typewriter looking key stencil that you made as well as all your doodles! Coffee is so mega versatile, cheap (I use cheapo instant) and found everywhere. Thank you for these great shares! I always look soooo foreword to your videos when they pop up here!
Ooooh, off to check out Marci, she sounds fun. I sometimes paint with coffee if I am in a café, just for fun and the memory of it. And thanks for the feedback. I thought two in one week was too many, overposting, but the ideas are just piling up here, so keep that good feedback coming, dear Lynn. Have a good weekend making stuff! (Off to work on tomorrow's newsletter now.)😁
@@BookandPaperArts Trust me Kelli, you could NEVER have too many videos in one week!! Seriously. Can't wait to read the latest newsletter. Always something yummy.
Love this. "Be bold, be brave". Yes! Wonderful way to break the blank page as well as play. And now I am eyeing leftover veggies in the crisper......
Ha. Debra, be sure and check out @margarts on IG to see all kinds of resourceful printing. She even uses strawberries! Have a creative weekend!
@@BookandPaperArts Thank you, I will check her out! And get to creating!
Your handwriting is beautiful. Soon, it will be rare to see it or understand what is written. A true art form.

As usual, so instructive. What a useful collection of videos this is turning out to be. Thanks Kelly.
Join me for some coffee? 😁😎😍
Shear genius! Legend.
Why thank you, Marion. Legend is a big word but I do have my moments.😁 Keep making those gorgeous pages!

Ha. Denise, I had the same here. Had to sneak that second helping of coffee out of the kitchen before Gab drank it. Silly husbands.
This is great; thank you!
Thanks Patti!🌼
