However, its origin is the Celtic word "barkino" and which in Spanish became "barcino", and later "brazil".

At least the coffee people are used to drink in daily basis and buy from the market.
Most the Brazilians have never drunk a real coffee.
People are used to drink that super roasted coffee bean that is basically a black powder and it tastes like "coal's juice", bitter and unpalatable.
In the real coffee, you never should roast the bean so much.
This kind of coffee are known as "tradicional" or "extraforte" which means traditional and extra strong/extra powerful.
There's another category of coffee that is called superior
Another that is called "gourmet"
And the better which is called "especial" (special), however this kind of coffe is far too expensive for most of the people, so they end up buying the cheaper ones like tradicional/extraforte or superior. A pack of tradicional/extraforte coffee is around R$ 8 reais, superior around R$ 16, gourmet around R$ 20 and the special can easily go over R$25. Yesterday I saw a pack of special coffee being sold by R$ 40 reais.
