I never really got the difference between the regular Street Fighter 2 and Hyper Fighting version other than the outfit differences and maybe a tiny bit of a speed increase. But then, it's like the Turbo edition so I don't know. lol. All I know is Capcom spent decades on the Street Fighter 2 theme instead of accelerating to Street Fighter 3 like they are doing now. We are at Street Fighter 6 already within a span of just a few years lol.
It’s was more than just new colors and speed about 85% of the characters got new or modified moves such as Ken and Ryu’s air Tatsumaki, Chun Li’s fireball, Dhalsim’s Teleport, and Blanka’s vertical rolling attack
Not just that. This game also lacks a "speed adjustment" option. Also, the lack of the word "Turbo" on the logo. The console versions are better than the arcade version.
