Great video, thank you! Did you happen to take any notes on the rough torque value to solve your issue? Mine is doing the same - not self-centring - so I’m hoping this solves it for me too
My issue was the opposite of yours, my rack was worn and too loose. Unfortunately I had to get a new rack. I wouldnt have thought the rack was your issue, the racks dont normally get tigher. I have had an issue on a different car that sat for a long tine that the tie rods became stiff and that affected the self centering.
