Mr. Galloway, I worked for an internet company back in 1996, just as it was taking off with Netscape. It really seemed to hold tremendous promise for mankind, especially in those early days. Well Sir George, if U can't cut it in Rochdale then it says a lot about the situation of UK going fwd. Brits have always follow tradition, that's embedded in the mindset so it has always been either C n L. U need to shake them out of that routine. For those of us with our humanity intact, the genocide in Gaza is THE most important issue, however for most Brits, consuming a daily diet of tabloid trash, vacuous talk shows and the slogans pumped out by political spin doctors, it seems that 'stopping the boats', the cost of living, and NHS are probably issues nearest their hearts, for those slightly more educated environment is a top priority.
Therefore i think you missed a chance to address how the Workers party would deal with some of those issues... for instance highlighting that if Britain did not continually destabilize countries and regions then there wouldn't be masses of people fleeing their homelands.
Or that if the Tories had not grossly underfunded the NHS, to line it up for privatisation then wait times and gp appointments would not be so long, instead people are blaming 'being inundated by migrants'
I saw a clip the other day in Nottinghamshire where it actually looked like a ghost town, as do many towns in the UK, that is a direct consequence of big supermarkets selling everything the high st used to provide, as well as exorbitant commercial rents, leaving only charity shops left to fill high street shops all over the uk.
